♫ Erkyah Badu – Honey

New music from one of the few artists who I own every album from. Erykah Badu, to me, as remained consistent throughout the years. From Baduizm, to Mama’s Gun, to Worldwide Underground, there hasn’t been an Erykah album that I haven’t been able to listen to from top to bottom. “Honey” is supposedly a new track from Erykah’s new album, The Kabah, which is set for release February 26th, 2008. “Honey” is to be officially released to radio on the 20th of November.

In the meantime, check out Erykah’s MySpace for more music and info on the new album.

I personally had to MATURE into erykah. U have to think 3 dimensionally to fully appreciate her. I LOVE HER… Mamas Gun was the best so far IMO.

Erykah is so talented on many different levels. I adore this woman. To me she is sort of a Muse. The men she dated after she dated them creatively took it to a whole nother level. Comman and Dre. Not saying they wouldnt have done well but Erykah might have added to dat.

Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, AK, Fantasia, Lauryn Hill, Winehouse, and Chrisette MIichele are the most talented and “substantive” female artist we have right now…. this would be my dream concert!!!

OK, hearing it again, while not as groundbreaking as some of the stuff off Baduizm, it’s still a FIYAH joint. The beat is one of those juciy squelching old skool vibes and her voice is still there.

  11. i love erykah…. nice song.. i like it

Um, this does nothing for me. Aw, that voice that had me hooked on Orange Moon and Otherside of the Game is gone. Aw, Badu do me a favor: listen to LITTLE DRAGON. They are out-baduing Badu.
