♫ Lil’ Kim – Chillin’ Tonight
The Queen Bee sure has been in the media a lot. From television shows (photoed above in a recent episode of The Game) to song features (“Let It Go” with Keyshia and Missy, and there was the killer remix to Diddy’s “Last Night”). Does this mean there’s a new album in the works for Lil’ Kim? The Naked Truth, her last studio effort was praised by some, and frowned upon by others. To me, Lil’ Kim always gives a solid effort when she drops an album – my favorite happens to just be La Bella Mafia. In any event, this new new song does not hit hard for me at all.
Hopefully Kim has some other tricks up her sleeves as far as singles, because I don’t think this is sufficient for a comeback.

I get so tired of people on here calling these famous people “irrelevant”. Who are you? I am sure no one knows you compared to the number of people who know about Kim. So who is really the irrelevant one??

I like this song. THis is actually the song that she performed on The Game and i was waiting to hear it in full. She IS getting older and should develop more depth. But it is what it is. She does party music. This is a party song. Maybe i relate to it because I am from NY? She is shouting out alot of the hot clubs out here. It’s like when 50 does songs that are strictly geared towards a NY audience. Maybe that’s her same direction right now.

I personally was always a Foxy Brown fan ( until she started acting crazy), but I do think lil kim has talent. I have all of her albums (except for the first one) and I thought she was growing (if you really listen to NOTORIOUS KIM, LaBella Maphia and Naked Truth you can see her growth.
However, I think since Naked Truth didn’t do well she decided to go back to old KIM whatever the case this song sucks and she should go back to the drawing board.
Kim is an authentic person she is not putting on an act I believe what you see is what you get. She has probably been this way since she was a young girl and that’s what I respect about Kim.

I actually think kim is very talented. Perhaps the most talented female rapper we have seen. If you look at her catalogue of music it is perhaps the most versatile we have seen. When people speak about growth, Let’s talk about The Naked Truth. Has anybody heard “last day” and “slippin. I think that people come down hard on Kim, but what about all the nonsense that’s out here now? I never hear anybody say these dudes make black men look bad. Woman are so crtical of other woman. Kim is saying the same thing as Jay, Fifty, Big, Pac, and all the rest of them. She is also one of the nicest, funniest celebs you ever wanna meet. Where i work, when she comes in everyone loves to help her and usually they’re not like that with a lot of the hip hop stars. I don’t agree with everything she does, but she’s a real person, with real probs and insecuritys like everyone else. Calm down Folks!! Take her or leave her damn!!!!
