Mannie Fresh’s sister, Angela Bryant, was shot and killed Wednesday night in her New Orleans home, according to local TV affiliate WWLTV. Police reportedly said the 42-year-old mother’s two young children were present but not physically harmed.
Authorities said Bryant, whose body was discovered early Thursday morning, was murdered between 10 p.m. and midnight, according to WWLTV. Her black 1998 Lexus LS 400 reportedly went missing after the murder. [ READ MORE @ MTV ]

scwalker1214 i understand your comments perfectly but dont blame the crime within single parent families ONLY. u see i have 4 cousins whose parents raised them exceptionally and tried to raise their kids the best. out of 4 children one is in prison for 20 yrs, another is consistently in and out of jail and th 3rd is 16 w 2 kids and pregnant as we speak while th 4th is successful within his career as an attorney. all raised within a 2 parent household yet only one is successful. while another of my aunts raised her 3 kids by hersel and they all r colege grduates. how many parents ur raised by is irrelevant to the morals their taught.
What happened to Mannie Fresh’s sister is BEYOND fycked up…damn you can’t even feel safe in your own home and what they did to the children is savage. That person is inhumane…a damn animal.

@ 67……. I understand and respect your point of view however, I disagree that
how many parents ur raised by is irrelevant to the morals their taught. I think it has alot to do with the actions of children. I am not implying that all people from single homes are corrupted, but most are, weather you want to accept it or not. Half of the jail population are African Americans who are in MOST cases a product of their environment, eg..drugs, guns, uneducated, etc.. only a small percentage break through that gap. Children just don’t wake up one day and say, I want to be a killer etc… it’s much deeper than that, it starts with what children have been exposed to, pick up a Sociology book 101. Just my opinion.

Once again, something is not right about this story either…..police better start looking at family and close friends cause this stinks to high heaven…..what type of killer decides not to kill the children? I mean these aren’t small children, youngest is 7, so they can talk and identify someone. Usually when children are left alive it’s cause they too young to point out the killer, so for those kids to be unharmed, it’s someone close to the family, cause it’s unlikely a killer with no interest in the family, who’s out to get the mom, would take the time to tie up her children so they aren’t harmed, unless it’s someone who know and love them children…..
This stinks i’m telling you….it’s someone close to the family….i didn’t hear that there was breaking and entering…did she know the person and let them in?

I truly beleive that her husband probably knows who did this heinous crime. Wasn’t he arrested before for drug charges. Doesn’t he know that anything drug related will bring harm to his family members? You are putting them at risk! I don’t know what else to say, but just pray for the family and pray that they turn their lives to God. Why is when something bad happens, people run to God. Know Him before it happens.It’s not difficult. All God wants is someone that will listen to him. The Devil is busy and God is fully aware of what’s happening to His people.When was the last time you told God that you loved Him?

This is so horrible to hear. they tied the kids up? He got out of jail hours before she was killed? All I can do in this situation is pray because God is the only one that can handle a situation like this.

That is awful. Much condolences to Mannie Fresh and his family. His sister looks just like him too. But I really would have expcted her to leave in a better looking and more protected neighborhood to have been his sister. Especially from a click who at times were known as self proclaimed cash money billionaires. I did see an iron gate around the house but from what I could see and from the angle that I saw this was a small frame house ,similar looking to the houses I saw during footage during the Katrina footage. Very tragic!!!
