NIA, SANAA, & GABRIELLE COVER ESSENCE & TALK ABOUT GOSSIP BLOGS

Wednesday, November 14, 2007

threeessence.jpg

Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, and Gabrielle Union cover the newest issue of Essence Magazine. The actresses spoke candidly about gossip blogs and I give a response. Check for that after the cut.

Essence: How do you deal with the 24-hours-a-day gossip that comes out on the Internet?
Gabrielle: Just last week somebody gave me a baby. This isn’t Perez Hilton or the White gossip people, these are women of color, specifically Black women who, for whatever reason, don’t like the company I keep.

Sanaa: She’s talking about the gossip sites.

Essence: The blogs.

Sanaa: That are run by Black women.

Gabrielle: And now because everyone is clamoring for celebrity tidbits, the bigger gossip sites and even mainstream entities are picking up on it. No fact-checking, no nothing. And in one week’s time, there were like five different dudes, a baby—I’m a homewrecker. In literally seven days. I can’t point the finger at the White media. They don’t care about us. Paparazzi are not staked out in front of any of our houses. They are not going through our garbage because they don’t care about us in that way. So when you hear crap about us, it is coming from our own community, which hurts.

Nia: We are some of the few Black actresses whose passions are rooted in our community.

Gabrielle: There is this idea that there is integrity in journalism; if it’s written it has to be true. But that’s not the case. When blogs or any of the magazines get it wrong, there’s no accountability. In the next breath, they’ll complain on the blogs that we don’t have enough Black stars. Well, you rip us to shreds every two seconds from our nose to the weave to the clothes to the shoes to the ashy ankles. [ SOURCE ]

I would have to disagree with what Gabrielle Union said about bigger sites coming to our blogs and getting info. Actually all the gossip we have ever posted about her was from Page Six or some other “popular” gossip site. From the Darren Sharper slow dance to the Derek Jeter rumor, all were Page Six. And to be blunt, I don’t pull rumors out my ass just for the sake of it. I always try to have a source.

As a young black woman heading a popular black blog, I take offense to what she said. We try hard to make it clear what is a rumor and what is fact. We also try to show everyone in a positive light. We cannot control what is said in the comments, only moderate them. Don’t generalize all the black blogs as if we all are out to attack. She name dropped Perez Hilton, but couldn’t name drop what black blog she was specifically talking about? How convenient.

It’s whatever! I really do like that cover though.

I’m glad she spoke on it and not Beyonce. Lord knows what the comments would’ve been then. Had it been B talking about black gossip blogs bringing her down by other black women, I’m guessing 10% would feel where she is coming from. The other 90% would continue to tear her down because of her comment.

Gabby needs to sit down somewhere, I really think she’s embarrassed because everytime I see her on a blog, it’s not in conjunction with a movie it’s pics of her partying and on a red carpet! If that’s the only thing to report on then do something constructive so the blogs can report that until then HUSH before u disappear!

why are you taking aoffense to something she is stating in general, the only reason to take offense is if you are guilty of commiting the acts upon which she spoke. so please get off your high horse honey, you have an awesome sight and if you know ur dong the damn thing right then there is no need to come back with a negative and oh -im -so- offended by what she said statement it makes you look like your guilty of it.

I THINK GABBY IS RIGHT. Especially on YBF, Natasha always is ripping people up and I always wonder if she is fat and insecure. Not to do to her what she is doing to celebrities, but the truth is, we do tear ourselves down from the inside out. I think for the most part, Gabby, Sanna, and Nia don’t get nearly as much bad press and “ripping up” by black blogs as other celebrity Black women like Brandy, Foxy Brown, etc. I read the blogs to keep up with what’s going on in the Black entertainment world, I don’t have BET. But hey, we could stand some improvement in positivity.

I don’t think gabby is referring to your website or the website that portray positive issues or the one that clear up gossip stories. She is referring to the one that defame and insult our black community.

Why is Gab acting like she is brand new. From the time you enter this earth till the time you leave, someone is going to talk about you. When your a celebrity that’s one of the prices you have to pay,and she can’t control it. Gossip didn’t start with black blogs. The National Enquier and Star magazine have made millions of dollars of off celebrity gossip.Let’s not forget Gossip is the key word i could understand her if her dating life was being published in Time magazine,or The New York Times as fact, but it isn’t it’s on a gossip site. A blog isn’t considered journalism( no dis-respect to Concrete Loop) and it seems like her anger is at the comments and that is beyond her control. I think she should grow up and get over it.To many more problems in the world to worry about this stupid S#$78T!!!!!!!!!!

Concreteloop, please don’t take offense. you guys are great! if it weren’t for sites like this no one would be keeping up with Black Hollywood. then Gabrielle would really be complaining. it is all in fun sometimes, and we know that. you guys in my opinion provide a service that is missing in the mainstream entertainment industry. trust me when it comes to celebrities there is no such thing as bad press. if it weren’t for you guys, Gabrielle would be begging for an article in the National Enquirer!

I think Gabby has a point. Too many people wanna be ripping a part OUR black women, and actresses at that. I’m glad she spoke out. However I don’t think she was really referring to this site. I see her more referring to MTOut…they are the ones which give out a bad name.

Angel- Love this site and need it every morning like ppl need there daily dose of coffee.:)

It is a MUST that I buy this issue of ESSENCE. I absolutely love these three ladies and I am thrilled to get them all on one cover. Nia and Sanaa are the baddest black actresses in the game. Gabby is cool but needs to slow her role. It ain’t that deep girlfriend and most of what you state is quite contrary. Nonetheless still got proper love for ya and I would be interested in reading the whole article. Peace.

You are being to sensitive. I agree with her. Every time they are on one of OUR blogs, we do have something negative to say. Regardless where the rumor started. Even though it is good to read, i can understand what she is saying. We should do research so if we do post a rumor, so we can say this is a rumor, although i did or didn’t research and this appears not to be true. Alot of the rumor’s i do see comments by you guys at CL giving your personal opinions, most time negative or agreeing with the rumor. So suck it up, she is just telling what she feels, and i understand. But if you want more love from the artist or actor’s, actress- you have to show them some love, instead of putting out false things. One love, Boost our people up, not down.

I have been reading CL for a while and I’m going to keep it real like I allways do, Ange la there is no need for you to get as defensive as you are if you hadn’t printed anything of questionable integrity . I agree with one of the other posters here , for the most part this site has a lot of integrity because I notice you guys stay nuetral on whom ever grants you an interview and more so scince you have been getting celeb recognition which is a smart move , but your weren’t above doing a ashy hammer toe post lets keep it real. I also find it ironic that people are comming down on the actress for reacting to negative publicty (not nessecerily from CL) and at the same time not doing the same for this site owners lashing out.

That goes both ways just like the celebs I guess you have to take the good with the bad. At the end of teh day this is a gossip site and its not going to be looked apon as having the same journalists merrit as other media and at teh same time you can get away with reporting that kelly rowland is pregnant which will get people to com to your site and not be held to the same standards as othe media outlets which allows everyday peopel like angela and tianna to get their jr reporter thing going on so take the good with the bad

170.

THERE IS NO NEED

Thursday, November 15, 2007 /

Angel, I feel your frustration.

I believe its not what Gabrielle said but how she said it. She should have called out names and sites instead of beating around the bush. Sanaa and Gabrielle were quoted saying, “gossip sites…that are run by Black women. So when you hear crap about us, it is coming from our own community, which hurts.” These statements bring people, who fit that category to a standstill, who automatically get offended…ESPCIALLY if that it’s false on you behalf. That’s like what many said before someone saying that ALL black females are bitter and angry when we all know that those comments are so far from the truth.

Nevertheless - when you are one of the few Black sites who constantly post positive blogs and opinions of actresses, authors, athletics and celebrities and someone makes a stereotype statement about gossip sites that fits your description…its insulting. It’s like accusing someone of a crime/act that they did not commit just because you fit the description and we all know that’s stereotyping and it a bunch of bullsh*t…excuse my French.

Gabrielle should have been more careful with her choice of words being a professional. She should accept that everyone is not going to love her and speak negative of her…that’s the harsh reality of being a celebrity. She should know the drill by now. True, she is human and has feelings as well but there is a certain way of going about things and she was very immature. She looks like a hypocrite to me. She talks about Black women putting her down and posting false statements then she repeats the same act by agreeing that its black women blogs who rips her to shreds every two seconds.

If you can’t stand the heat, get you tail out the kitchen.

First - The sisters ae beautiful on the cover

I admit I didn’t read the entire Essence article yet, but why is Sanaa actually making the statements and finishing the sentences for Gabrielle? Just wondering…

I understand Gabrielle’s statement - and she’s right, and most people agree, she probably is not talking about CL specifically, but when you make general statements, you leave yourself open to a lot speculation. She could have just as easily said Gossip blogs - but she specifically said, blogs run by Black women. Angel is offended because she is a Black woman running a Black Blog - that would include her.

Truth is gossip has always been - and will always be around… my parents taught me early and often, there will always be somebody that has something to say about you.

“Folk gonna always talk…. let ‘em talk” you just make sure that the bad stuff they say, ain’t true”.

I agree with Gabby to a certain extent. I think she should have named the website she was talking about or just say “some” of the websites ran by black women. I don’t think she was talking about Concrete Loop b/c like Angie said, she usually puts if it’s a rumor or if it’s been verified. I love this website, but some of the women who have blogs get on my nerves because they are so negative sometimes. Angie, keep up the good work and I don’t think she was talking to you but it would have been nice if she would clarify who she was talking about.

OK 170 so again just as Gabby should either accept that shes gogin to get her privac invaded and have untruthfull things written about her shouldn’t Angel La also accpet that a lot of these celebs they reporting on are not going to give her Kanye west Love for reporting who they were supposedlly seen canoodling with on sat day even though it is her job to report on such. Angel, not everybody is going to love what you do but you cant lash out at the celebs who are not nessecerily feeling what you do, thats not professional. and I dont even beleive she was reffering to CL but you have to admitt she had respect enough for the black blogs and the fact that black woman run them to not be tacky and name names but she obviously doesnt have that respect for perez hiton which is fine.

I do feel Gab though becuase black clebs get the raw end of the deal. The white media doesnt care enough about what they do to report on it so what ever negative publicty is garneered is commign straight from other blacks who I guess she held to a higher standard to know better then to attack her character by linking her to chris brown one day and who ever else is married by the next day. Again I dont beleive she was pointing otu this blog specifically.

At the end of the day this is a gossip site lets keep it real. Its for entertainment. I mean all your viewers including me love what you do but you report on entertainment news and gossip, there aren’t going to be an pullitzers awarded here even with the jena recognition so everybodys not going to love what you do especially when your reporting their business.

CL is one of the main sites that I visit regularly, and I have to agree with the rest I don’t think Gabrielle was talking about this site in particular.
Out of the popular ones, I believe she is referring to is http://www. sandrarosenews.blogspot.com., Media Take Out and YBF. However, most of the time on YBF’s site, I’ve seen the owner mainly about Gabrielle’s, Nia’s and Sanaa’s fashion choices, not necesscarily their relationships.

I don’t remember seeing much about Gabrielle on Sandra Rose’s site, but I do recall Sandra Rose posting a rumor that Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long were lesbian lovers. Their frustration about some blogs is understandable. Nobody wants blatant lies posted about them all the time. But hey, bogus rumors comes along with the fame. It’s best for them not to even stress out about it and just ignore it. That’s just how it is on some blogs. That’s how most of them get their popularity.

There are actually two covers (I bought it yesterday). This one and then another one with them wearing blue and both are equally beautiful. I have seen Gabrielle Union out a million times with a million different guys. I own a spa in LA and often get invited to VIP events from my clients. I’ve seen her with Darren (yes, they were dating…if that’s what you can call it. Screwing is probably more appropriate), a bunch of other football players (that’s clearly her thing) and miscellaneous actor types. She may just be a flirt, but word on the street is that she is at every party doing her thing. I have different friends that have seen her in Barbados, Miami, New York, I’ve seen her in LA, Las Vegas…always at a party. Being in the public eye, people will notice stuff like that. If she doesn’t like the reputation, she should keep her ass at home.

Some of the celebrity gossip sites are vile and disrespectful right out of the box - and the comments and commentary are worst. That’s real…. and can’t be excused.

But it’s gossip first of all, and everyone - celebrity or not, has dealt and will deal with gossip. The fact is now, celebrity, almost celebrity and wanna be a celebrity gossip is BIG business. There are hundreds of celebrity gossip “sites” or the internet and youtube. But it’s gossip, so the expectation that facts will be checked is absurd - it doesn’t matter if it’s true, it’s juicy, so it will be reported.

If you have made a decision to get in the entertainment business, you made a conscious decision to be exposed to this - it’s not right, but it’s real. It’s a risk you decided to take in your chosen profession.

#179 - Shonna

That’s real talk. When she was married, she was working [movies and TV] and she was not out and about and taking pictures, and drinking and dancing with every male celebrity she could find. She has to be cognizant of her behavior - and she has been acting like a party girl since her separation and divorce.

You have candids of other celebrities at lunch, walking down the street, shopping, at the airport, on the red carpet… but most of her shots are at parties - with someone else, usually a brother, sometimes someone else’s man or husband.
Not a good look.

I think she was OK with that at first, because she was getting publicity - but I do believe that some in the industry are talking - and fellas and women are beginning to be a little distant to her.

185.

THERE IS NO NEED

Thursday, November 15, 2007 /

@167

I would have to agree and disagree.

First, CL backs up ANY and EVERY rumor that is posted. Like with the death of Dr. West…they confirmed it before posting anything.

And yes. This site does contain many negative comments BUT it does not come from the creators or staff of the CL. It comes for the regular people and members who come here to post their views. Yeah, they could remove all the negative comments but everyone is entitled to their thoughts, good or bad. That’s the people’s right based on the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

The thing that makes me troubles me is how a website is blamed for other peoples actions. CL generates positive, good quality posts and many come here are tear down that positive vibe. You CANNOT judge a whole group or organization based on a few people’s bad behavior within that group. If that’s the case, then we as a Black race are in
SERIOUS TROUBLE.It’s not fair to say that CL is negative towards black celebrities but it is fair to say that the people who post at CL are nasty towards celebrities.

I agree that well need to ease up on these people, be a little more positive and consider other peoples feeling. This is true. But it not all of us here at CL. Everyday someone is hating on another person whether if their rich or poor, that’s life. And celebrities get it 100 times more. But if you really want something in life like a career in the public then the gossip and rumors come hand in hand…that’s the unfortunate actuality. We need to be more positive; we need to support and uplift one another but you will always find in life that are haters always among us. So I suggest if you can’t handle it, remove yourself from the situation or try to change the negative atmosphere by asking each other and ourselves why we have so much unconstructive energy.

There are a couple of blogs I could name that are pure trash and very negative…but not CL. CL is one of the most professional sites out there.

But, I received that issue of Essence in the mail yesterday, I read the entire article and I really think that Gabrielle has issues with trying to please people and that is the main reason why these blogs bother her.

She told a story in the mag about when she was still married, she and Chris were having a bad argument in the lobby of a Vegas casino. She was upset and crying when some fans walked up to her and asked her to the the “Bring It On” cheer from the movie. She said she looked at them thru her tears and said, “This is really not a good time” and they walked away disappointed. Gabrielle said that she feels so bad that she had to disappoint a fan.

So that statement leads me to believe that Gaby is a chronic people pleaser and when she reads the “black” blogs that say negative things about her…it really works on her self-esteem.

But if she plans on having ANY peace of mind, she better STOP reading the blogs (black or white). She’s a celebrity and people will always find something to say about her good and bad.

Cabrielle should be happy she is being talked about IMO. What the heck has she done of relevance lately? Everytime we see Gabrielle she’s at yet another party. Maybe if she chilled at home once in a while people wouldn’t be assuming she gets around. She is right about one thing-we don’t have enough “black stars”. Thursday, November 15, 2007 /

@176

Unfortunately yes. If Gabrielle cannot handle the constant lies, drama and gossip then she should consider a change in occupation as an actress. These events come hand and hand in this industry…sad but very true. Some people can handle it and other cannot. Regrettably, it is what it is.

And as far as I can see Angel is not really tripping on not getting her props for her website. If she were so upset about it, she wouldn’t be posting about these SAME celebrities who don’t her love let alone create Concrete Loop. And by the way, CL is not considered as her job, I think she does this for the love of web graphics. (CORRECT ME IF I’M WRONG ANGEL.) She owns her own business in web graphics so it more that just a job. But I do not recall Angel lashing out on anyone. She just spoke on how she felt and kept it moving. If you ask me, she didn’t have to post on it at all because what Gabrielle did is called stereotyping and that’s wrong.

This is how I see it. Whether if you are a celebrity or not, rich or poor there is ALWAYS, I am going to repeat it again, ALWAYS going to be someone talking about someone, point, blank, period. Yes its unfair, yes it hurts and yes the world is cold. At the end of the day, it doesn’t make you who you are as a human being. Nobody on this Earth has a heaven or a hell to put that girl in she should not care about people say about her…especially if it is untrue. We need as black people need to stop seeking for acceptance and approval from other who do not what best for us. As long as we respect one another and not intentionally offending each other than we should be all gravy.

And for the record, people of color who choose to become entertainers know they are going to get the short end of the stick, just like every other black person in this world weather you be a Engineer, Architect, Lawyer or what ever profession. We ALL have to work twice as hard for our success. So it doesn’t pertain to just black celebrities. And I also do not believe that she was not gunning at CL as well. (So we agree on that.) I just disagree with the statement of ALL gossip blogs, created by black women.

But like you said, this is entertainment. So you really can’t take what is being said as serious. I suggest you take that advice to your friend Gabrielle…if that’s what you believe entertainment is. (Smile).

I believe that since CL has gotten larger, and is getting looks from the celebs it posts about, it has really toned down the certain aspects of its celeb reporting, like the blind items and the juicy gossip! I miss it, but I understand that it’s trying to be different and trying to portray celebrities in a more positive light. And I believe Angel and crew go out of their way not to post the speculation. I have to go to bossip for that :-)

And CL is not responsible for what the bloggers post. I do agree with the person that said that black people love to tear each other down - the posters on CL tear each other and the celebrities down - they don’t discriminate.

But, you guys are doing a great job CL - Angel, don’t take Gab’s digs against black bloggers personal. ALL are not created equal, and CL is heads above the rest :-)

I agree with Gabby. The most negative information and depiction of black celebrities have come from BLACK BLOGS. I’m not saying its necessarily Concrete Loop…but you sure did get defensive..

I think Gabrielle is right, she is labeled as a “whore” by many black gossip blogs; However, not by Concrete Loop, so I don’t really think you should be offended at all. If she would’ve name checked whatever blogs she was talking about, that would’ve only hurt the situation more than helped. I also think that it was easy for her to mention Perez Hilton because, let’s face it whether you love him or hate him, he’s the most famous…most influential..and most recognizable person in the business of gossip blogging. His site is pretty much the one to which all other blogs are compared.

Am I the only one who feels that the ppl in charge of the mag. cover should not have potrayed them to be so light skinned??????? We need to be more familar with the fact of dark skin being more mainstreamed!!!!! @192 I totally agree with u. We always have something negative to say about out black woman. Even now they saying”she lucky she even being talked about” stop HATING! if it was Rihanna up there yall wouldn’t be talking sh*t. They are all beautiful SOULFUL women and I agree with Gabrielle. BLACK WOMEN always got something to say. When u have nothing to say about someone then here goes the negativity. GET A GRIP BLACK PEOPLE! and to think Martin and Malcom faught for unity but all we did instead of sticking together is bring eachother down. Just like crabs in a barrell.

@204 whats with the color complex. Its called makeup and lighting. When cameras flash some people tend to be darker or lighter. Thats another issue we have in the black community. Yes I do agree that alot of the successful women in hollywood are light skin, but thats our fault. If you look at rihanna blogs all the comments are “she’s so beautiful” “shes so sexy” but the b*tch is talentless. But when Gabrielle or Naomi Campbell get up there, here we go with the negativity. SO BLAME YOURSELVES!

Right, Right!!! we really shouldnt say ANYTHING negative about our own at aLL!!!

Cuz if we do we’re just makin white america happy, they dont post anything about

us,& they wont post anything about us cuz we’re doing the bashing 4 ‘em…they’re

just sitting back, laughin saying “Look@ how they rip each other apart HA!” We

need to lift each other up, help young black girls in communities, lower the drop out

rate
of black students, and prevention of STD’s in our race as well, the list could go on

and on of the possible things we could do, espically with them being Celebs….man

the attention would be endless! Man I wish I could make ^ that happen!

@210 hell yea, we have too many issues and the white man just laughing. Thats their point. They put us against eachother and just sit back and watch. We fall right into their standards of beauty and its done on purpose. The black woman is the ideal of beauty whether we know it or not. Thats why white woman get they lips pumped, they tan, and they get injections in their asses BUT WE DONT SEE IT! we think our black woman are ugly because thats what the white man wants us to believe its called ENVY! but we feed right into it. So they make everyone successful light skin to once again start DRAMA! get it together and open your eyes.

They all just need to be content that their name is even out there on these blogs. If it wasn’t for these blogs they wouldn’t have exposure. Like Gabrielle Union said, the mainstream white blogs don’t care about them and paparazzi isn’t checking for them. So be happy that you’re getting free publicity and just ignore the blogs.

“And to u guys saying Gabby should stay home - what for? Maybe she is not a home person - what is wrong with partying? She should stay home and be a couch potato?”

Maybe if it bothers her that much she should stay home. Nothing is wrong with partying, but when you are a celebrity don’t get upset/defensive because people are talking about you.

People kill em with that. I don’t care what you say or how well you intend to come off in there but there is is no check some one can write that would have you not feel a certain way about hundreds of people cosigning to you being a whore ont he itnernet , and if there is an amount of money that makes it ok under in your book I suggest you seek some kind of higher power. So that “it comes along with the business” excuse as to how shes is supposed to not feel a certain way after reading lie apon lie about her isn’t going to cut it. And with that very statement you are simply perpetuating the myth that these celebs are demi gods ellivated above regular folks who are above having normal feelings of discontent and embarassment and anger at all these stories that get written about them on the gossip blogs. Truth be told it’s attitudes like that that for some reason make halle berrys pregnant grossery shopping pics some how seem rellevant to anything when they arent.

And as I said I dont see gabrielle as having lashed out anymore then AngelLa did. What you and AngelLa need to understand that at the end of the day both ventures come with baggage. Actors are going to get talked about negativley and gossip blogs are not going to be respected as ligitamate press becuase as gabby said its almost always 90% heresay with no obligation to check facts. (Kelly rowlands supposed pregancy comes to mind). If gabrielle is expected to suck it up becuase she knows the stories aren’t true and comes along with the territory true wouldn’t AngelLa be expected to hold her self to the same princapals knowing internet gossip blogs are not exactley the most respected or revered forms of mediaoutlets outthere. I would think so.

…..”She told a story in the mag about when she was still married, she and Chris were having a bad argument in the lobby of a Vegas casino. She was upset and crying when some fans walked up to her and asked her to the the “Bring It On” cheer from the movie. She said she looked at them thru her tears and said, “This is really not a good time” and they walked away disappointed. Gabrielle said that she feels so bad that she had to disappoint a fan.”
_________________________

Are you serious? How old were these fans? They expected this grown professional woman to break out in a cheer, in the lobby while she was crying? And she is worried about disappointing a fan?

That whole story seems a little suspect. Honestly when most people see a celebrity, they want an autograph or a picture - not a scene from a movie.

Give the woman a break. People say things out of anger. It could have been a lot worse or extremely disrespectful but it was not that bad. She didn’t drop any names. Not to mention, she has the right to be a little bitter, if that be the case. She was raped at gun point when she was 19 and has had a horrible divorce. Atleast she’s not going around saying eff the world and trying to ruin others life, she is trying to live hers, with some peace of mind. You commentors can be so negative.

Sounds to me that she was speaking on MTO cuz their gossip isn’t derived from not even a kernel of truth. Also sounds to me like she may have been speaking on posters on Black gossip blogs cuz many of them redefine “vicious.”

I can see where Gabby’s coming from but at the same time, you have to charge that to the game.

Why can’t gabby get mad? She’s a human being like everyone else. Because she’s upset doesnt mean she is not thick skinned. Hell, I dont care what people think BUT it does annoy me if people make negative assumptions about me. Its called being human. smh

“Why do black celebrities think that the black community owes them something simply because they’re black?”

Good question. I have one for you. Why do I have to “support” an entertainer simply because of the color of their skin?

“Ms. Union only felt comfortable saying that because she was singling out black woman. If she talked about white bloggers, they would have responded with: “who the hell are you in the first place”. If she talked about black male bloggers, they would have responsed with “why are you putting the black man down”. But if you attack black female bloggers the general perception is “black woman are crabs inb a barrell and they just catty and jealous”. That’s why she felt comfortable saying that slick mess.

CHILLIN IN NY…BINGO!!! BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE. Pick on the weak (or what appears to be anyway). She better be careful or this could backfire sending her career even deeper down the toilet.

I agree. As for Concrete Loop, I think this is one of the more kinder and more information responsible blogs out there. It’s a shame that they had to pan all black blogs, when black blogs mainly give these artists free publicity and love when mainstream America could care less. If they are overly sensitive what is said in the comments, hey that comes with the territory! You asked for fame.

why are you taking aoffense to something she is stating in general, the only reason to take offense is if you are guilty of commiting the acts upon which she spoke. so please get off your high horse honey, you have an awesome sight and if you know ur dong the damn thing right then there is no need to come back with a negative and oh -im -so- offended by what she said statement it makes you look like your guilty of it.

Couldn’t of said it any better myself.
