Snoop is getting it – 70′s style – in the video for his new single “Sensual Seduction”. This is the first off his upcoming ninth studio album Ego Trippin’ that is due out next year.

With this year coming to a close, I thought it would be cool to look at some of the most popular trends we saw on the carpet this year. One color I saw many ladies standing out in was hot pink – or maybe hot fuschia (however it comes out on your computer screen).
It’s a bold color, but its also a fun color that adds a bit of excitement to the look. Rihanna for example, wore her pink Armani gown at the VMAs this year and the color really made a simple gown different from the rest.

Usher feat. Pharrell – Only One (snippet) – listen
This song could have been good, but then when I heard the chorus I just cringed. I mean, maybe it’s because it’s not mastered or mixed. It’s like, I don’t know, the song had the potential to be really good, but it just doesn’t sound finished. From past experiences, The Neptunes and Usher usually collaborate well together (“U Don’t Have to Call,” “Sweet Lies,” and “I Don’t Know”) but there have been some mishaps, for instance, the unreleased tracks, “I Heard A Rumor” and “Wifey,” which both had holes in them to me. I see the direction this one’s going in, I hope they can get it there.
Cheri Dennis – Dropping Out of Love (full) – listen
As some of you may or may not know, Cheri Dennis released her debut album, In & Out of Love via iTunes earlier this month. It’s been said that the album will be released in stores next year, February 26th. In any event, I’m glad that Bad Boy finally let her put out some product. I’ve listened to the album a few times, and I think that it’s a pretty consistent effort. It’s very much so 90′s – it sounds like old classic Faith on Bad Boy to me. “Dropping Out of Love” is one of my favorite cuts from the album.

Everyone’s favorite Bad Girl, Cheri Dennis finally releases the video for her single, “Portrait of Love.” We posted pics from the set of the video about a month ago, and now it’s finally here. The video was shot at Opera nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia, and the choreography was done by a friend of mine, Sean Bankhead. So shout out to him.
Cheri’s album, In & Out of Love was released exclusively on iTunes earlier this month, and is set for release in stores on February 26th. Today, Cheri has a special in-store live performance in Chicago’s Apple store, so if you’re in the area, check her MySpace for more information.
