my comment was made in comparison to Janet’s Velvet rope the intro to where Janet says something poetic and beautiful that meant something, something she wrote herself. The whole concert had a theme, she was connected with her audience, she danced her ass off, she probably doesn’t have the “mega vocals” but Janet puts on a show that Beyonce can’t touch. Beyonce just deals with what already has been (Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, soon to be Rihanna and Britney).
