Angie Martinez hosted a Hair Show & Beauty Expo over the Thanksgiving holiday with celebrity guests Missy Elliott, Pepa, and Lil Mama. Other guests included Julissa Bermudez, Nina Sky, and Juelz Santana.

Also over the holiday, was the 34th Bayou Classic NCAA Football Game between Grambling State University and Southern University in New Orleans. Lauren London, Ray J, Dr. Ian Smith, and Soulja Boy were spotted at the game.

Awww I miss Bayou Classic! I couldn’t make it home to the N.O. but I am a proud Southern University grad! The Jags fully represented this year!! As for the hair show I agree about Pep’s weave. It’s hard to watch the Salt and Pepa show and not be distracted with that 2 tons of yakky Pep has in her head——

I don’t think he is a gimmick – well, he didn’t start that way, but he has caught the entertainment bug. I don’t think he was ever a praticing physician, but with all of his media ventures now, he’ll probably never have to.

I guess I’m the only one in here that though This Christmas was kinda WACK!!! The end of the movie was the best part and that lasted all of 3 mins. Not exactly an exciting story line but oh well. Won’t hate on black folks making money, but I could have kept my $7 (good thing I caught it during matinee).

At the closing of SU half time show they said “Go back to the country”. Talking to GSU band. It was hilarious, all in good fun though. We sat right behind the band and was acting a fool through the whole game. You know what I noticed though? Remember back in the days when they used to have people in the dome taking your pictures with the different backdrops? I miss that. They stop doing that. I wonder why.
The one thing that I do like about Lil’ Mama is that she has not let go of her BROOKLYN East New York style of dress. She is still rocking that B-Girl East New York style that girls her age are still rocking…mad colors and fresh Nikes or Mikes..Now I am not saying that every girl in Brooklyn dresses like this, but trust me a majority of them do
