U.S. but he is fine with that and he still acknowledge his Carribean background, But he still says he’s black. In Brooklyn there is a whole melting pot of races of blacks, but I think it’s still mainly considered black on a whole, ya dig.

The only two races that are described today based on skin color are the caucasians and our people of the captivity. What’s funny is that white people are not white, they’re different shades of red (Gen 25:25) and black people are not black, they’re different shades of brown (Ex 2:17-19, Job 30:30, 33:6, Jer 14:2, Lam 4:8, 5:10, Acts 21:37-39, etc). The Africans will quickly correct anyone that calls them “black” because they know that the term has no relevance and that the blacks of the captivity are different from them (Ex 11:7). How can they not be? They are products of the same socio-economic factors that plague black men. koolie is used mainly in conjuncion with some1’s hair type. ok, like chilli (TLC) some1 may say “the koolie girl in tlc” or the “one with koolie hair”. altho we may know she is cherokee or red indian, its a jamaican thing 2 describe them as that and its common over here. it has sort of become common slang, even with white kids from culturally mixed areas that may move with black kids. you may not know, but english black people have a strong culture depending where you are from. you either african or caribbean, after that its stil gets broken down into islands and countries e.g for the caribbean it would be Jamaica, barbados etc. for africans, it would be Ghana, nigeria etc. on a whole yeh we are the black community but really every1 is very patriotic and sticks to their own culture and fellow people, remember, we only immigrated to england after WW2 so evry1 is stil pretty fresh :-).
