They SUSPENDED his show, they didn’t cancel it which means they’ll begin to tape new shows and air it again once all of this blows over. They learned from the Imus case that you should react accordingly, but this is a forgiving country that is racially (and politically) exhausted so if you cancel him, someone else will pick him up and profit in the future.

I heard the tape and I think when it comes to racial statements, people have to grow up and look at intent. The reason why Black people feel it’s okay for us to use any version of the N-word is because we don’t “intend” harm when we use it. It’s ironic that Dog was trying to explain that his intent isn’t to harm when he uses the N-word so his ultimate crime is that he got caught saying it.

But being realistic, I think 95% of all white people use the N-word amongst themselves and the other 5% would use if they didn’t fear the consequences. Is it wrong, of course.
