Ne-Yo was dropped unexpectedly from R. Kelly’s “Double Up” tour on Monday:
Yesterday, Shaffer Smith aka Ne-Yo was informed that he was being dropped from the rest of the R Kelly tour after delivering two sensational performances. Entertainment reporters, music critics, bloggers, fans, and concert goers all agreed that Ne-Yo’s performances brought the heat; but maybe it brought too much heat.
“I don’t understand their actions because I was rehearsing, doing media, promoting the tour, and performing, said Ne-Yo. In my opinion, I was doing everything possible to make the tour a success. I love being on stage in front of fans because of the immediate feedback you get. You know right away if they are feeling you; and they were really feeling our show.”
Ne-Yo expressed genuine concern regarding not having the opportunity to complete the tour. He wanted all of his fans and supporters to be able to see him live. “To my fans and ticket holders – I apologize if you are disappointed.” [ SOURCE: SOHH ]

Grand hustle to pass out free turkey dinners for those in need
T.I. & The Grand Hustle K.I.N.G. Foundation be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for those in need at Club Crucial on Thursday, Nov. 22nd from 6pm to 9pm.
400 turkeys will be delivered to the Atlanta Parks & Recreation Center to be donated to 400 families throughout the Atlanta area. T.I. reached out to celebrity friends to help raise 150K for the Hosea Williams Feed The Hungry Thanksgiving Day Dinner Event. Note: T.I. will not be in attendance.

I was listening to the radio this afternoon about Ne-yo being kicked off of the tour because his performances were way better then R. Kelly’s. I feel bad for him because I think he is an extremely talented person. If R. Kelly really did kick Ne-yo off the tour because of jealousy then he really has issues and needs to grow up.
Why do i get the feeling this is R.Kelly’s doing and not Keyhsia. I get the feeling Kells feel s a bit irrelevant, prolly saw that Neyo was getting as much love (if not more) than he was, felt threatened and got him thrown off the tour. Similarly, when he was on the “Best of Both Worlds” Tour with Hov, he was upset that folsk weren’t paying him asmuch attention and y’all know what happened then. Too bad for the Neyo fans, but he’ll bounce back.

If people would just think a little deeper – the whole Keyshia Cole didn’t want to perform in Columbus Ga because it was too small doesn’t make sense — she rehearsed there two nights prior to the show night – so what, the city shrunk on the night she was to perform?
The whole she didn’t want to go on before Ne-Yo – this ain’t a high school talent show. During reheasals, you know the order, you have stagehands and people who work the line-up, so she either knew 2 days prior that she was going on before Ne-yo, or that whole story doesn’t make sense either.
I’ll admit because of her behavior in the past, she makes it easy to be blamed and be the scapegoat. So that’s on her. But the more likely story is that there is some other foolishness going on with the tour – which seems to be the case with all R Kelly tours. He does not want anyone outshining him – that’s probably the real reason why Ne-Yo got the boot, esp. since all of his reviews have been excellent.
