We’ve been getting a load of information regarding Tweet’s new album, Love, Tweet over the past couple months, and now there’s a sampler leaked! The sample contains 9 songs, all new material. Of course, we get those classic Tweet vocal arrangements, with beautiful harmonies and melodies. I have to be honest, I wasn’t really impressed with the song with T.I. But this sampler has given me a new-found interest in Tweet’s new project, considering that she really is one of my favorite songwriters and vocalists.

@ # 3 & 11 “My Dear” actually has grown on me, a whole lot. It is a very relatable song and the beat is nice. I listen to it everytime I’m having my night cap and just reminiscing on the past. This is exactly what happened to me when I first heard “Oops, Oh My”…I didn’t care for it at first been then it became a huge hit…
I’m buying Tweet’s album regardless, she is absolutely one of my favorite artist. The song samples are real nice, and Tweet always delivers in my opinion. She is so honest and sincere in her music. And her voice is soooo heavenly.

Didnt really like Mr Dear with T.I., but I’m currently waiting on this download to finish. Tweet is an INCREDIBLE singer. If we talking about females who’ve debuted in the 00′s, Tweet is definitely near the top (along with Keyshia Cole, Jill Scott, India.Arie, Amerie and Fantasia).
I like her new hairstyle a lot. She’s one pretty lady. It’s Me Again, her 2nd album was such a letdown, but Tweet herself has said that she had to compromise a lot of her sound, just so the label would be happy. Shame they didnt promote it then
Southern Hummingbird, however, was BRILLIANT. Smooth, lush, sensitive, dipped in honey, lol, everything bout that CD was great. “Come to my plaaaaace/You know I’ll be waitin for you”, “You got me nervous and trembling/Smoking cigarettes at night”.
Always Will and Best Friend with Bilal were my joints off that record too.
She said that she was about to quit music, and become a full-time mother, but this opportunity with Umbrella Recordings has given Ms Charlene Keys a new lease on her singing career–and I’m so damn happy about that. Go head ma, keep doin you!

I feel sorry for Tweet. She’s such a truly gifted singer and even has a subtle sensuality about her, but the society we live in will not give her the time of day. They will ignore her, for she is too black for them. Our society is one that promotes fairer skin and more european features as beautiful and accepted. face it folks, being white is like having a carte blache– an american express to the world. the world is at your fingertips! White people have made it that way to their advantage. Do I think they’re evil? To a certain degree. But mostly I believe whites are fulfilling their role in prolonging their race. They actually should be commended on becoming so hugely succesful as a race. And her lies Tweet, a wonderful Star in our universe who won’t get the recognition SOME other blacks are getting.

OK, heard it, my take on it all:
Cruisin’: Really nice, smooth vintage Tweet. One of those love/out-of-love songs based around doin an everyday thang (cruisin’ around in this case).
Anymore: Wow, Tweet sounds like she’s on some OutKast shit on this track. Pretty funky. Even tho she’s not always an uptempo singer, this one works well, like Oops Oh My off the first album. Will prolly be a a standout track. Coulda had Andre on the track though!
Can’t Live: Love the beat. Her vocals are a bit weighed down, but it’s still a good track.
Everything: Reminds me of something from Teedra Moses.
Real Lady: The beat doesn’t really suit Tweet’s voice.
Remedy: The way she sings this, LOVE IT.
I Just Wanna: A bit Neo-Soul vibes here. This is nice a bit like Erykah meets Angie.
Them Eyes There: HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT SHIT!!! This is one of those songs that’d fit into one of those smoky jazz clubs of the 30′s, 40′s and 50′s. Shame it’s only an intro (it says so on YouTube where it’s already on).
Overall it sounds largely promising. Welcome back Tweet.

I just heard it on the radio. They said it was unexpected and that she was in L.A.(Cali) and he was i London on his way back to the U.S. My respect to him and his family. As the radio dj said everyday isn’t promised to us so live everyday to the fullest and tell someone close to you that you love them for may not see that person again!! I made that mistake once in my life and didn’t visit someone close to me when I said I would and they died! I didn’t know the severity of their illness (I didn’t know they were sick). With that happening to me I ALWAYS make sure I let the people close to me especially my daughter that I love them!! I kiss my daughter good bye (or see you later for those of the Pentecostal faith good bye is final and they don’t like saying it because we all we see each other “later” in the afterlife) when she is on her way to school, after school and the same w/my parents and siblings and friends!! Just remember to cherish the good relationships you have with those close to you and let them know it!!!

He was so close to his mom, this must one of the hardest things to go thru, because his momma was still a young mom, I don’t dare to imagine what my life would be without my mother.
