Jay-Z feat. Trey Songz – Blue Magic (Remix) (full) – listen
I read somewhere that this was the official remix for “Blue Magic,” but I’m not sure. Either way, for those who aren’t aware, Jay-Z is releasing a new album, November 6th, titled American Gangster – it’s his take on the storyline of the new film, however, the two are not directly related. Trey Songz doesn’t really do anything for me on this track. Even though he was a rapper before he was singer, I think he needs to stick to the latter.
The Dream – She Needs My Love (full) – listen
After “Ditch That” (which I fell in love with after hearing it a few more times), I was a little skeptical of Dream’s material, but I am actually very interested in his project. So far, most of the songs that I’ve heard from Dream’s project, Lovehate, which is due out December 11, I have liked. They have a catchiness to them that just appeals to me. Even though sometimes the “ella-ella” and “eh-eh’s” can be a little overkill, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
Hurricane Chris – Playa’s Rock (full) – listen
From the young man who brought you “Aye Bay Bay,” here is “Playa’s Rock.” In all honesty, I have to say that this young man’s voice intrigues me. As much as I hate to admit it, and as much as I hate when his first single comes on in the club, I like his delivery, but I think that’s as far as my intrigue goes. I believe that “Playa’s Rock” will be Hurricane Chris’ third single.
Thunderkatz – I Know (full) – listen
You may remember a little while ago, we did an artist spotlight on the Thunderkatz and here’s a brand new tracks from the Inc.-signed band. I think it’s hilarious that I got a random shout out in the song. I just love their energy so much, from performance, and the production. I think these guys are a talented group of people. Anyone that can hold my attention during a live performance gets props from me. I wonder if they will be featured on Gotti’s reality show on VH1?

The Dream’s song sounds like a good pop crossover. I’m feeling the hell out of that beat thoughI wonder who produced it.
#3 I consign he’s second single hasn’t really being taking off though but it’s good to see him keep putting out singles to support his album.

To me I think Jay-Z is trying to do the whole Beyonce thing with his album..bc he is trying to say how he related to the film (the way Beyonce did with The Dreamgirls for BDAY) but I really dont think that approach is working for him bc he was not actually in the film prob work for T.I. bc he was in the movie..
Can’t wait for Jay’s album AG. It’s total fire and was scored a 9/10 on Allhiphop. Interesting that all the journalists are saying the worst track on the album is “Hello Brooklyn” featuring Lil Wayne.
It’s already being bootlegged which will cut into his sales – AS USUAL – but, he’s still going to sell like hotcakes because hip hop dying for real lyrics and god damn if Jay ain’t bringing it on AG.

Hurricaine Chris album sold 7 copies. What a flop. He had everybody saying Aye Bay Bay and sold no material. Just another example how the south are running the airwaves but not selling records. We’re stuck with nothing but one hit wonders.

But i Really hope that this isn’t the offical Jay remix, because if it is Trey is just going to embarrass himself by introducin himself to the world as a rapper ( even though he has them mix tapes rappin) on a track with the “best rapper alive”, i mean his rapping wasn’t half bad but his flow does not compare to jay’s.
