New, official remix of “No One” from Alicia Keys, featuring Damian Marley. I think this is a cool track, and the reggae production really suits the vocal technique that Alicia Keys is using on the single. It’s funny, when I’m talking to people about this song, I always get mixed emotions about it – some people love the song, and I think it’s a great look for Alicia, but other people absolutely hate the way her voice sounds on it. I, for one, was one of the latter, but the song has really grown on me a lot. I love it. It’s great for her.
Cheri Dennis – Remind You (full) – listen
We’ve been waiting on Cheri Dennis for quite some time. She’s been signed to Bad Boy since the release of Diddy’s compilation, The Saga Continues. She put out a great single last summer, “I Love U,” but there was never an album released. Now, she releases a single titled “Portrait of Love,” featuring Yung Joc and Gorilla Zoe (there should be a video out soon), which I really like. This is a new song, available on iTunes. Word is, Cheri is releasing her album on November 13th, but exclusively on iTunes, which means that it will not hit stores. “Remind You” will be featured on the album.
Nicole Scherzinger – Happily Never After (full) – listen
Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls fame has run into a couple of problems with the release of her debut solo album, Her Name Is Nicole. Interscope Records and the members of her team have decided that they’re going to wait until 2008 to drop the debut album, to give her some more time in the studio. Even with a team of star producers and writers on the album, it just seems like neither one of her singles could jump off like the label expected them to. Maybe she should do another Pussycat Dolls album first, and then release her debut after she records some more.

More new music from Dream. The single, “Shawty Is A 10″ has taken off and people really seem to be taking to his other material. Although I don’t like “I Luv Your Girl” as much as I’ve liked “Falsetto” or “Ditch That,” I can see the appeal of the song. One thing I’ve noticed is, Dream’s music really seems to promote infidelity! He’s always talking about somebody else’s girlfriend or leaving with someone else’s chick!

just for the record……the backsteet boys recorded ‘Happily Never After’ about a year ago. It didnt make the album though. Nicole’s verson is nice but i like the BsB version better with all their arrangment of the song….
No One – ….I can’t get into the reggae mix. Please leave this song alone! It was too much to begin with, although I like the song.
Remind You – Nice! The beat is bangin and Cheri’s voice over this track sounds nice.
Happily Never After – It sucks! Sounds like a slow rock and roll song.

Hell to the naw, the Dream needs to stop and just stick to uptempo songs. He is losing me. Shawty is a 10 had to even grow on me. His voice just don’t do anything for me. Akon is as high pitched as I can tolerate right about now. LOL
I prefer the original version by Alicia. It’s more danceable (if that’s even a word). The remix is cool but it’s too slow and she sounds like she whining or something. The remix is good house cleaning music or puff puff pass music.
