I agree with this. I think the Simmons sisters are cute but I wouldn’t go as far as to say they’re pretty. Besides the two pictures that I pointed out (mainly because of the suits) there isn’t anything popping about her pictures. I don’t look at them and say “work!”. It just, oh…cute.

They are riding the family’s name to a certain degree (the same way Kimora got Baby Phat because of Russell)…but they’re also putting in alot of work. It’s not like they are known for being red carpet favorites, attending parties, sex tapes, etc.unlike other celeb children. They are taking advantage of their famous name and going in a positive direction.

I like Vanessa Simmons (as well as Angela..i don’t even know how she got in the conversation…), but these “modeling” shots seem only O.K. to me. On a novice level even. She reminds me of what Tyra Banks and Co. are always saying on ANTM–just because you’re pretty, doesn’t mean you can be a model.

Though this is only my first time seeing any real cover shots of Vanessa, maybe she just needs more time to work it out and get more experience. The pictures are nice though. Just not something I would think would be in a copy of Vogue.
