Everyone’s favorite Bad Girl, Cheri Dennis finally releases the video for her single, “Portrait of Love.” We posted pics from the set of the video about a month ago, and now it’s finally here. The video was shot at Opera nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia, and the choreography was done by a friend of mine, Sean Bankhead. So shout out to him.
Cheri’s album, In & Out of Love was released exclusively on iTunes earlier this month, and is set for release in stores on February 26th. Today, Cheri has a special in-store live performance in Chicago’s Apple store, so if you’re in the area, check her MySpace for more information.
See if Bad Boy would have given her Danity Kane money, They didn’t have to give her Faith money, Just Danity Kane money, the video would have been better. I Love the song, but I envisioned so heavy choreography and her walking down the street serenading her beau, kinda like the video “yo’ by Chris Brown.

I like this song, i like her voice too. It sucks that they’re pushing her into a pop sound and image when she clearly has a much stronger voice and is too old to be wearing forever 21 outfits. The reason she looks so off in the video is because clearly that’s not her in real life. I think her sexuality also plays into why Bad Boy refuses to promote her as much as they promote their non talent artists.
