I love Tamia….she is absolutely gorgeous. Love love love her album. It is constantly in rotation. This is one of my sister and I’s favorite tracks on the album. IF YOU DONT HAVE HER ALBUM COP IT QUICK FAST!

It’s amazing that I’m listening to Donell Jones’ Life Goes On and was thinking about how the instruments arrangements of Tamia’s song Officially Missing You sound similar those of Donell’s song Comeback on that album.

Anyway, Between Friends is a dope album, it’s a pity this song (and more others) is only featured on the U.S. version of the album. It’s a nice song, so is the video. And she looks so sexy without trying too hard. Grant is a lucky guy.

I LOVE TAMIA….actually her album came out earlier this year, and it is GREAT. It’s GOOD music. Tamia is smart though, in a world full of Beyonce carbon copy artists, she decided to go the INDEPENDANT route. She has full control over her music and production company. She is an artist of the people, who does it for the LOVE of the music, and not the FAME or AWARDS like others. Go buy her album if you don’t already have it!

I LOVE Tamia. And she is so very underrated. But I have to admit that I think this is the worse song on the album and the worse video she’s ever done. I mean, she looks beautiful (as she always does.) But ummm….well…Actually, the video is great. It’s so much better than today’s trash. I guess I just hate the song so much that I can’t stand the video! LOL. I just hate that little “eeeeeeee, weeeeeee” sound that keeps playing in the background. It sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me.
I really wish she would release the song “Happy”. That song gets serious play at my house. And I know the video would be HOT!

Nice video, nice song, though I hate that dude’s voice in the background, that takes you out of the song. I wish she’d release the first track on the album, and to me easily the best on the album, “The Way I Love You”. I love how she sounds on that. But keep it up Tamia! Tamia is definitely one of the most overlooked female artists. This album was great and this is my favorite song off of it. She looks incredible in this video!

I think she probably made this video after she had the baby, and just hasn’t dropped all the baby weight yet - she had the baby (Lael Rose) on 10 August. In the video she made for Me, which was the single released before this one, she was waaay preggers.

Like everyone says, Tamia is refreshing all the way around - she has a beautiful voice, she is very pretty, and her “realness” just comes through. She just had a baby and she’s not back down to her pre-pregnancy weight yet, AND she’s not afraid to show it.

I really don’t understand why Tamia doesn’t get the credit she deserves because she’s still better than ALOT of the artists that are out there today. Everyone is saying they don’t understand why she’s slept or why she doesn’t get the credit she deserves, it’s because her fan base does not support her. I believe she is on her own label now and put this last album out all on her own. But she can’t succeed if she doesn’t have the support from the public. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t know how talented this girl is, but I also don’t know of anyone else other than me, that has all of her albums.

But at the same time, she’s not marketing herself well at all. You can’t put out an album and expect people to just know it’s out. She’s got such a beautiful spirit and personality, but she’s not putting herself out there enough for people to take more notice of her and want to buy her albums.

Like she’s got 2 kids now, how bout she write a book or do a show about her life as a mom with MS? Like, I’m sure it was a struggle for her the first time having kids (i think I remember her saying that she thought she never would have kids), but she did and I’m sure she’s ecstatic about it.
