For this edition of ‘When Did She Rock It Better’ we have the talented Alicia Keys. A CL reader sent in a photo of Alicia performing at the Turks and Caicos Islands Music and Cultural Festival back in August wearing the same turquoise pants she had on while visiting the BBC Studios in London last week. As always, when did she rock it better?

Yes Alicia has hips, thighs, and thick legs but to me I think her body still looks good because she’s toned.
But this is CL. People will always and forever talk shit. I’d love to see how some of these people look who are constantly spewing out negativity.

Alicia could wear a gasoline-soaked thong in Hell and STILL be cool! No, seriously, I am loving those turquoise pants somthin’ fierce. Especially with the gold top…like how she’s filling them out. Whoever said she’s “sloppy thick” is on crack. She’s awesome!! The way a woman is supposed to look.
Not really feeling either, but I like that Alicia has changed her style: she dresses a lot more classy and mature now. I can’t wait ’til she goes on tour; she has the best concerts!

The gold top is a much better look, but I’m just happy to see a celeb repeating their clothes. That’s keeping it real!

Yeah, the London look was definitely better. In that pic, her body looks proportionate. However, since she’s very bottom heavy, in the first pic, the top half of her body doesn’t even look like it’s supposed to be attached to the bottom part.
Still, Miss Keys is fabulous, regardless. And she, pretty much, is the only person that can make colored jeans logical. lol!!!!!

I dunno what some people are talking about–her shape looks good to me in those jeans. Why make it like she’s a fat cow or something, or she has a muffin top going on with the jeans? (which she absolutely doesnt). If it looked really wrong I’d agree but I dont see the problem. And there’s nothing wrong with the color…maybe its cause thats one of my favorite colors, but I appreciated the contrast.
As for the pics, I think she rocked the London look alot better. I said it on the other post but its a cute-trendy looking outfit that I would wear myself. I like the entire outfit.

I love the jeans in both pics. They’re hot and different, and in case u haven’t noticed, everything from the 80′s is makin a comeback, including colored jeans. And there is ABSOLUTELY nothin wrong w/ A. Keys’ body. It looks like most of the “normal” females I know. She has a very healthy body image, something little girls need to see MORE of!!!

The most important thing about all women is PROPORTIONS! All women can be beautiful, weather they’re thick or thin, if their bodies are healthy and proportionate. And miss Keys is very unproportionate. Everything seems out of place.
BUT I do not agree that she’s sloppy. Actually, Beyonce’s much sloppier. In beach pictures, her meat is saggy and then all of a sudden in awards she looks perky. Why? She wears a spandex suit. And I’m sorry but I respect Keys, who’s all natural, not fake ass Beyonce! As Keys said, a real man knows a real woman. And B is as far from real as Paris Hitlon’s nails!!
