We got like 20 emails asking what kind of shoes Beyonce was rocking backstage at the American Music Awards this weekend. They are actually “Closed Front Cage Sandals With Ankle Pads” from the Fall ’07 line by Balenciaga. I remember this because Kanye West posted them on his blog last month.
Baller alert: They cost $4,175 a pair!
Those shoes are ugly as hell but I guess most people won’t be purchasing them after all unless you said, they are BALLING!

It’s not exactly brain surgery who makes the shoes. Getty Images clearly posted in the description of every pic in this outfit that she had on Balenciaga shoes, Whaterver it was Jeans and a Tina Knowles jacket.

Oh and Beyonce did not spend $4,175 on those shoes. She got them for free from Balenciaga for free publicity and promotion. Just like she got those $100,000 Balenciage pants that she wore at the BET Awards for her performance. Even Beyonce would not spend 4,175 on them but Balenciaga knows that if ignorant folks see the shoes on her, they would think that the shoes are cute and run out to go and buy them or keep Balenciaga on their lips. So dont go spending your annual rent on them jusy tet, trying to keep up with the Joneses. Y’all know that if you saw these shoes at the Korean store, at DSW or at the $19.99 store, you would have said they were ugly. But because Beyonce is wearing them and/or because they are expensive, you think they are cute. NEXT!

There is too much going on with those shoes. She must have been paid to wear those shoes and then pose so the camera can get a shot of them.
