I said the engineer did that not Tim beats itself…Aaliyah might’ve had better engineering on her songs with Timbaland who knows..lol….. “Sadiddy” and “Cool (Thought I’d Be)” and some parts of “Afrodisiac” what I’m getting at is that her lead vocals can be drowned out from her background vocals and tim’s beats due to bad engineering..it’s NOT HER being the issue..it’s the ENGINEER..is my post more coherent now?..because you keep asking me well since Brandy’s voice is more powerful than Aaliyah than how can you hear her over Tim beats than Brandy..easy good engineering ;)..I thought that album was hot nonetheless..and still love Brandy no matter what..but Jimmy Douglas engineering wasn’t cutting it on this album..I’m not the only one that has said this..other music critics who have critqued the album said the same thing I said..lol

She was the same age as these young tricks when she released those albums. So please, stop that. As far as I remember, Janet didn’t release anything in 2003 fool! She still had ‘All For You’ on people’s minds (Son of a Gun, Somebody to Call my lover, all the remixes, etc). Selective memory you are. A Stanet can always come correct. Honestly, I’m tired of hearing Janet can’t sing. Just because she cant be a Whitney doesn’t mean she “can’t sing”. Theres more than one way to sing you know. Right now I have the MJB &AKEYS’ Album in heavy rotation, other then these two talented artist and Kanye West, I copped no other albums in 07′. I am sorry but money is tight, and if an artist who has been in the game for a while shows that they have no intentions of putting together a well-rounded album-forget it. I am not buying it at all…and I know at least 10 other people who are not buying it either.

Record Sales will continue to plummet if these artist do not go back to the” drawing board” and figure out what exactly they mean and wish for their audiences to learn from them- seriously. I am fatigued by oversexed, over-promoted, over-simplified artist.

I wish everyone on the Comeback list success. All these artist should be nsync to their craft and sound at this point, so slackers will get the message through soundscan!

Finally, I will not be able to bear Ashanti in any form. I just do not have any tolerance for her- she is like a bad dose of Beyonce’s over-sexed imagery and overpromotion without any talent to back all of the noise up at all.
