HERE IS MY TWO CENTS ON THIS WHOLE SUBJECT, READ:

We have all heard the phrase: “its a dirty job, but someone has to do it.” Maybe we forgot that we live in a world with various lifestyles: rich, poor, famous, underdog, poverty, middle class, urban, suburban, country… ect. Everyone has their views on money, self image, values, work…. and ENTERTAINMENT. Entertainment comes in various forms, but for this arguement SEX is one kind. And for this market there is a consumer and someone profiting from the consumer. So its a job that someone will do.

Next point: why is this job being attributed as a negative propent toward black women? This is ridiculous. What of PLAYBOY? How can one black urban entertainment model make us feel so threatened? We have so much to be proud of. Look at Tyra, Oprah, Michelle Obama, Halle Berry, Condelezza Rice, Alicia Keys, Sonia Sanchez, Maya Angelou. Come on people. We can’t let one group of people from a certain lifestyle define what constitutes an attractive black woman. Last time I checked the black man running for president is married to a HARVARD GRADUATE, with most likely real breasts!

In the end there will always be sex appeal. And people who are consumers of it. Get over this fact. Get over the fact that some woman live off of their sex appeal.
