I got a chance to catch up with American’s Project Runway favorite, Mychael Knight the other day and got some insight into his new lingerie line, Kitty & Dick. Mychael has put together a group of performance artists called the Kitty’s Litter to brand and market the new line of intimate apparel. They are the faces of. Myke describes the girls as being The Pussycat Dolls, meets Victoria Secret’s Angels, meets The Fly Girls! And he’s absolutely right. I’ve had the opportunity to sit in on a couple of rehearsals, and these girls are super talented.
I promised Myke that I wouldn’t reveal too many secrets, so I won’t tell you too much. But the girls (from left-to-right in the top photo), Candis, Marcia, Rae, Maya, Kendre and Sonni, choreographed by Victor Jackson, will perform with a guest recording artist, entertainer, or personality each month at the Kitty & Dick Suite! So be on the look out, because it’s going to be hot!

hey yall its fashion and its only lingerie that mean as for what all the models have on u dont look at the whole outfit and judge u have to look at it piece by piece cause what their wearing does not represent the whole collection for that look u know what im sayin…its kinda hard to explain…i like it really cute!

Kitty Litter – the name sounds a bit tasteless and lacks class.
But then you have the name Kitty & Dick, which seems a lil neat when you look at what its for. But what star/model with anything going for themselves, would say “Oh I have on Kitty & Dick underwear.”
As opposed to saying
“I have on the Victoria’s Secret Angel Collection.”

Mychael is right back where he started from with his designs, I see. That looks like the stuff he brought in during auditions for the show. That’s sad. And, don’t get me wrong…the dude IS talented, but his problem is that he’s well…like someone said of him after his show at Bryant Park: “he designs for Beyonce videos” I’m sorry, but it’s true. (And, nobody challenge that…this is NOT about Beyonce…it’s just what they said).
I think Mychael’s best work was the stuff he made from trash…the stuff he showed at fashion week…:-(

Those girls look pretty and crazy at the same time. Those colors are too bright and I wouldn’t wear that mess. His stuff on project runway and rip the runway way fly as all heck. Bring that creativity back Mychael.

As for Kitty’s Litter I think the pics are cute. I love the colors and what appears to be, the first items from the line. I have yet to really see Kitty’s Litter purpose in form so I’ll give them a chance before I pass judgment. When I saw the title of this post in my RSS feed, my initial reaction was “wtf kinda nasty ish is that.” (the name ‘Kitty’s Litter’ immediately reminded me of some Fresh N’ Step cat litter or something…)
..Then I saw the pics and read the post and understood. However, I do have to agree at the brand name being a bit crass as I have some reservations about it… Kitty & Dick….ok…not exactly professional–even for a lingerie line. But thats not my name on that label so whatever.
