Okay I am not writing my comment again but what is the Freakins comment on Will and Jada, please do not say its about that swigger rumor which is completely false. It started after that Oprah interview where they talked about having boyfriends and girlfriends and openly permitting each other to have them, but they did not mean literally. They meant they say it to one another which permits them to be honest about their attraction to other people, despite being married, but they do not act on it. I actually watched that Oprah episode so I heard it straight from Will and Jada’s mouth not some b.s. gossip. Come on lets support the positive marriages in the Black Community.

LOL @ People analyzing the post like crazy. As I did last year, I went through every post of the year to see which couple was talked about the most and then compiled the list. This isn’t the most ‘married coupled’ or ‘the couple i liked the best’ list. Get it together.

However, I do agree that I could have put Mary & Kendu up there with a honorable mention, but you can’t get them all.

Angel, if those are your requirements then Jay and B are gonna be the #1 couple every year. No one is over analyzing this post, it’s just so blatantly obvious.

I’m glad for all of these people and they are going strong, but seriously some of these people need to be tying the knot soon. I love black couples, but I give even more props to the ones that take it to that next serious level and become married. Thats true commitment and dedication. Anyone can walk away in the relationship, but true couples marry and stick it out, unless its just too many complications. Lets start giving nods to people married, such as Tisha Campbell and Duane Martin, Tamia and Grant Hill, Angela Basset and Courtney Vance, Sallie and Dondre Whitfield. These people are doing it big and have been for years. Marriages are lacking in Hollywood, so lets applaud those staying strong.

Isn’t this blog for entertainment purposes for the most part…they didn’t have to put much thought into it…If the coverage on this site was over Obama or Oprah or whomever else is making the NEWS people wouldn’t be as interested in it…you can tell just by some of the other posts that barely receive any hits…I’m not saying that people aren’t interested in those people…but a lot of people like to come home from work (and others while at work) and be entertained…there’s a time and place for everything and this isn’t the site for it…but I’m sure there are other sites to meet your needs if you’re looking for a lot of deep thought and consideration put into the topics.

I highly doubt that mentioning a black presidential candidate and his wife in a topic about the year’s “top couples” would qualify as “deep thought.”

Beyonce is the hottest chick in the game and she is the number one black female artist. No one else is even in the same league as her. This is why there are so many dead beat black parents out there. We have to see a ideal family that doesn’t neglect their kids and say “I want that kind of life for my family”. We have to adapt to folks in the clean middle-class family neighborhoods and not come in there and ruin it for them by bringing in the ghetto with crimes and gangs. Ever wonder why when you move into a clean neighborhood, white folks moved out? We have to start blending in so ignorant folks could stop stereotyping us. We have to nurture our kids so they won’t steal, pour acid on people’s face randomly, snatch purses from others, shoot people randomly, loitering on a neighbors front porch or intimidate others with thug tactics. This has to stop if we want the white man to take us seriously. We can’t say “I grew up without a dad therefore I’ll make 20 babies and let them run lose just like I went through growing up.” We have to change for the better. I’m sick of all the discrimination but I believe we have to change to convince the white man that we are no baboons running lose in the zoo. Mos Def will look at me and say “That brotha is a trader” but let me tell you somethin Mr. Def, we fill up prisons not because we were held back but because we neglect our kids and when they grew up, they run wild on the streets sort of like a wild animal. They do not understand morals at all. This is why we filled up prisons. We have to follow the law and not depend on affirmative action as our helping hand. Let’s get real folks. Real talk.
