I said Kanye was the first to wear this look: street, boho, high-end…that’s what I said. Pharell’s look was high-end and street (or irreverent and sporty) not hipster. Kanye was the first to blend the two looks with the vintage inspired outerwear…the hipster jackets and cardigans…and, of course, the sunglasses.

Okay, I’m never typing the word K-A-N-Y-E again! lol I’m so tired of talking about that man and his look… I promise I hardly care…he’s not on my best dressed list. When I first saw the scarf swag I thought “hmm.. that’s different”, then it caught on like wildfire. Everyone’s wearing them now. I personally don’t see this look as being gay or homo (double pause and double no homo, I know.. I listen to too much dipset but still…). It’s just fashion and fashion is constantly evolving. I bought one a month ago and have yet to wear it, it’s basic and solid in color and I like it for me. I think the problem is that if you don’t dress “hood” then people automatically think something’s wrong and that mentality is stupid, people need to wake up realize the world is bigger than than the hood and the block.
