Steve’s ex-wife, Mary Harvey is currently trying to sue him because he tried to be slick with the divorce settlement and hide his adultery, among other things.
The ex-wife of comedian Steve Harvey claims that she was conned into a quickie divorce engineered by the entertainer and his lawyer, who allegedly sought to keep private details about the star’s adultery, poor and neglectful parenting, and “physical and mental abuse” of his ex-spouse. C’mon now, Steve was paying that man – she had to understand who he was working for. How is his lawyer going to tell you what you can get for a child support… that’s determined by a judge.
If he was abusive and neglectful, why in the hell would you allow someone who works for him convince you not to say anything – unless they initially paid her off. And if you claim he was neglectful to your child, I’d make damn sure any visitation is monitored, if you don’t have enough sense to protect your own head, at least protect your child’s.

First and foremost even a rock knows that in divorce preceedings you have a right to your own counsel…as a member of the legal arena I have NEVER seen or heard of a couple using the same attorney-WTFE! I am not a huge fan of Steve’s, but Mary went to nut city and Steve joined her and now she’s heated about the settlement she took. Steve has adult twin daughters who from my understanding are well taken care of not to mention a teenage son -and no complaints have come from that way or the ex-wife before Mary.
