Rihanna was spotted wearing a new tour get up while on tour in the UK last week. Looks like the bad girl is getting badder and threw away that tutu for a naughtier stage costume.
I kind of dig it, but some have been whispering it’s a bit too much for the 19 year old singer. Do you think it’s hot or not?
It’s not as tough Rihanna is running the streets wearing these S&M/bondage inspired outfits, she’s on stage performing, putting on a show and these are simply costumes. There’s nothing wrong with getting into character and costume if that’s your line of work. I mean it’s a “good girl gone bad” what else should she be wearing? a housecoat? It’s fine, nothing i’d want to see on the streets, but it’s fine for a show.

Again, I will reiterate: Rihanna’s costumes/outfits this year have all been very literal (cliche, even) interpretations of “rock” and “bad girl”….Everything from the pyramid studs, to the platform boots, the the brass knuckles, to the jet black hair, to the ripped tees….everything has been straight out of the “punk” playbook. So, is it really shocking that she’s wearing dominatrix gear?
Also, I highly doubt she changed costumes because she needed to up her show to match Ciara’s…In case you haven’t noticed, she’s MUCH smaller than a couple of months ago when she began the tour, MUCH smaller. She looks to have dropped 4 sizes, in fact. Go look at her new candids in the other topic…she appears to be about a 3/4 now, whereas she looked like an 8 before. So, she probably needed to make alterations and just changed the whole wardrobe up a bit for fun. Also, I think she might have been sick…it’s true, maybe…she’s a lot smaller than she was last month, even!

I thnk rihanna is a very beautiful girl and her stage costumes are cute and she looks good with or without clothes. Alot of females artist are wearing less clothes in thier performance now a days , for example beyonce, mya, trina ,lil kim, eve, etc… I mean look at what the video girls are wearing and we dont know thier ages , So i really dont think its fair to call Rihanna a Ho for what she wears when she is on stage , ITS a costume ! Personally, I think its not that big of a deal. She’s a performer and thats her costume. She looks no different from the showgirls in vegas who perform. Shes a performer. It would be different if she was going outside like this but its her costume. Her new album is titled Good Girl Gone Bad and so is the tour so isn’t the whole theme supposed to be about being bad? Isn’t that the point? Maybe its just me but i dont see the problem. She’s an entertainer not a staff member at some elementary school.
