Will Smith proves once again he’s the million dollar man with a record breaking debut for his new film I Am Legend. The movie landed at #1, making $76.5 million dollars and is the seventh consecutive chart-topper for Mr. Smith. The film also ranks as the best December opening of all time despite all the crazy winter weather hitting the Mid West and North East over the weekend.
Did any of you happen to see the film? How did you like it? I say the best part of the film was this scene.
The Great Debaters has not even hit theaters yet and it is already receiving award nominations. The film has been nominated for Best Motion Picture Drama from the Golden Globe academy. Another Denzel film, American Gangster, was also nominated for a Golden Globe in the same category.

The Great Debaters story is award worthy, I have no doubt that Denzel and cast does it justice.
Tyler Perry is still doing it big – he now has bigger named actreses and actors vying for his movies – and though some dislike his Madea portrayal it is funny to a lot of people.
I plan on catching this flick next weekend.
I know Meet the Browns will be great, because the stageplay was great and Tyler keeps reppin’ for our hometown “Tha ATL” and is definitely doing his thing.. I will definitely go and see this movie.

I saw I AM LEGEND last night(saturday) and i thought it was a GOOD movie! They were playing the movie in about 8 different theater rooms out of 25 and had showings about every 20 minutes and the shows were still selling out like crazy! But Congrats to WILL ! That is a major accomplishment and he deserves every minute of his success!
Will Smith is sexy as HELL! I haven’t seen the film yet but I will definitely support him and all the other movies.

Will Smith conveyed on film SINGLE-HANDEDLY/ALONE for 1 hr and 40 minutes what many STAR STUDDED casts often fail at doing entirely. Dude KILLED his performance… REAL TALK… but I hated the end of the movie… it was like a bad orgasm… Building up to the climax and then it’s like…. BLAH! lol

I saw “I Am Legend” on Friday … I live in Texas so winter weather is never that huge of a deal, lol, but it was cold as hell … the line was long and it’s the first time in a VERY long time that I’ve heard EVERYONE in line asking to see the same movie. My stepchildren and I went to see I Am Legend last night and we loved it! I was jumpin all over the place. It is very suspenseful and the monsters that came out at night looked like those things in vid games like Resident Evil and House of the Dead.
It was a very visual movie esp. since Will really didn’t have anyone to talk to for most of the movie. The best scenes for me were the very last scene in the basement and when the dog went into the abandoned bank. Very creepy.
Anyway, Will is a great action hero. He works quite well with CG.
Congrats to Will and Denzel, two of the hottest men in Hollywood….
THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME! Will’s acting has improved immensely! I don’t know if he’s trying for an Oscar but he should definitely be nominated. I’m definiteely purchasing this one when it comes out.

I saw the movie and it was good….IMO it wasnt great, but I can see how others would think its a great movie. I didnt like the scientific aspect of the movie, but the movie isnt about that so I’ll let it slide…..Bottom line, Will didnt convince me that he was a scientist, but that has nothing to do with Will’s acting it was about what was in the script….
But go see this movie its worth the $10..

Oh just to point out…. did NOT like Will’s daughter’s acting….the part when she was getting into the helicopter was sooooo fake…she was smiling in one scene then in the next she was trying to cry but it looked like she was still smiling…The whole part with the helicopter scene was not toucing or believeable to me.
They need to give that girl more lessons b4 letting her act.

I went to see I AM LEGEND tonight, it was a really good movie. Will Smith really did his thing, I was most amazed, how entertain I was when he was in most of the film by himself. Made me want to break out Bob Marley cd when I got home. It was worth 9.50 that’s for sure. I almost gave up hope for the movies this christmas year since I went to see This Christmas.

I saw it today and LOVED it! Will Smith is definitely one of my favorite actors, and he did an excellent job in this movie…he definitely deserved to top the charts! …lmao @ the favorite scene. My mom got madd googly-eyed when that part came on– and pretty much every other female in the theater, lol. He looks good for his age– not gonna lie… but the dog was still my favorite character =)

I got scared, cried and laughed (esp @ the shrek part) to me there was an even deeper meaning to the movie , than just an out break of a Virus….
