♫ Lil’ Mama & T-Pain – Shawty, Get Loose!
Lil’ Mama is back with a new single, featuring hit-maker T-Pain. I posted a low quality snippet of this song in a new music review, but here’s the full single version. “Shawty, Get Loose!” is the third single from Lil’ Mama’s album, Voice of the Young People, which has yet to have a release date. Her first single, “Lip Gloss” was huge over the summer, and although the second single, “G-Slide (Tour Bus)” didn’t get much radio attention, it got some video play.
I think if Lil’ Mama can put out a solid video for this song, she’ll be alright as far as the release of her album. I don’t know what it is about her, but I am rooting for Lil’ Mama. I think I like her because she’s just something different from everything else that’s rap out there. She is a more positive image for younger kids, and I can respect that. She certainly took it further than chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side…

I heard Lil Mama mother passed away over the weekend from cancer , I will pray for her and her family cause I know it’s hard to lose a parent around this time of year!!!

Not a fan of her music but the girl has been out for a while. Sounds to me that she needs to start selling cds off that tour bus of hers. Before she knows it she’ll be out of singles for the whole album. That’s not a good look at all. They should have pushed the album when Lipgloss was a hit for the younger kids.

I heard the one with the Chicken Noodle soup girl too, it was alright to me, but I dont see what she talking ish for its not like she has been a succesful artist, only song I know of is Chicken Noodle Soup, an I dont even know the chicks name, sound like she just jealous an I think Lil Mama can rap better to, I dont like all her songs but I wont deny that she got skills, if she stay in the industry she will probally be one of the best female MC’s with some time an more experience.
