Mary J. Blige feat. Usher – Shake Down
Mary J. Blige has definitely been doing her thing the past couple of years. She’s set to release her new album, Growing Pains on the 18th of December. She’s got a nice, fashionable video for the first single, “Just Fine,” written by The Dream. Here’s some new material from Mary’s album, titled “Shake Down.” It’s a duet with Usher, who is supposedly coming out with a new album as well (no word on the status of that project). It’s not a bad duet, but it sounds almost identical to the duet that she did with Jamie Foxx on his album, Unpredictable. The production almost seems like it’s the exact same song.
Mary’s album leaked, but it’s a low quality web-rip, so I’m definitely waiting on the real thing to feast my ears. So, if you’re a fan, make sure you get your copy of Growing Pains when it drops in two weeks.

I like it – and I have to disagree with Brian, it’s nothing like the duet that Mary did with Jamie Foxx – that was a remake of “Love Changes.”
I thought Mary’s voice might sound too mature against Usher’s but they sound find.
Pre-ordered “Growing Pains” on iTunes – can’t wait for it to drop!

This song sounds NOTHING like “Love Changes” from Jamie Foxx’s album, which was a remake. That was an inaccurate description. Very nice song…I love me some MJB!!!
This songs is good and there are alot of goodies on Mary’s new album… tune in at the link below you can watch her listening party… Roses, Fade Away, Work in Progress are some of my favorites… this is overall a great album…. The Queen remains humble yall that’s why she will forever remain on the throne.. Dec 18th is going to be a great day.. some good music back on the BLOCK..
