You can say a lot of things and with Bee, but there is no doubt 2007 was her year. With a worldwide sold out concert, B’Day video anthology and Spanish CD release, plus more awards to add to her list - there is enough to talk about.
But you ain’t done talking about Beyonce if you didn’t talk about how she looked. Knowles had to be one of the most talked about celebrities this year when it came to her style. Everyone wanted to know what she wore, how much it was, and where they could get it (or a copy at least).
Here is an overview of Beyonce and some of her best/most talked looks. Alongside, are footnotes of the designers and some with where to buy.

Another year of red carpet stunners, blunders, and “oops, that almost slipped out” has passed by with no injuries. Infact, some of entertainment’s most noteworthy stepped their wardrobe game in ‘07, and developed individual styles to set themselves away from the rest.
So without further ado, here is a list of this year’s best dressed black star power…
RIHANNA - 07’s “IT” GIRL
Rihanna was also my pick for “most improved” in 2006, and she definitely progressed in 2007. The singer not only took over the charts with “Umbrella”, but she took over the red carpet wherever she appeared. With her new edgy haircut, she had girls everywhere heading to the salon. Her model physique and her punk-glam style combined set her apart from any other female artist in her league. Not to mention, she was also our first feature for ‘Star Style’ earlier this year.

Looks like Jigga is officially done at Def Jam. It was announced today that starting January 1st, he will no longer serve at the label President:
“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have served as President of such a culturally-defining label as Def Jam over the last three years,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “During that time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many of the world’s most dynamic artists and many of the most dedicated and talented executives in the music business today, including Antonio “L.A.” Reid. But now it’s time for me to take on new challenges.”
Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, took over as President of Def Jam in 2005. Under his guidance, the rapper signed his former rival Nas to Def Jam and oversaw the release of hit records by Kanye West, Rihanna and Ne-Yo.
Island Def Jam Music Group Chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid said that Jay-Z felt it was time to take on “different challenges in his life.”
Jay-Z will continue running and recording for his Roc-A-Fella imprint, which is distributed by the Island Def Jam Music Group. The mogul is rumored to be making a transition to the urban division of Sony Records with Rick Rubin. Full article
