Mary just released her latest studio album, Growing Pains on Tuesday. Apparently, there were a few tracks left off the album. “Mirror” was included in those songs. I actually like the song a lot. I think what makes me like the album is the Eve feature. I’m not quite sure why “Mirror” was left off the album. It’s definitely written and produced by The Dream and Tricky Stewart, you can hear his trademark “eh’s” in the background of the chorus. The Dream has been getting a lot of love in the streets, since all the writing he’s been doing, and his album dropped. Big things. Also, be sure to be on the look out for Eve’s new album in ‘08. I’m looking for more features from her.

This week, the internet has been buzzing once again that Jay-Z and Beyonce secretly exchanged vows while they were in Paris. This rumor started after Beyonce fans noticed the pair had matching tattoos that slipped by cameras during recent appearances (with the “IV” supposedly meaning “forever”).
Our verdict? Does it really matter if they are? Would it really shock anybody? Let them continue to do them and be fly.

♫ Nicole Scherzinger ft. Brick & Lace - Puakenikeni
Nicole’s already had 2 failed singles this past year, so her team resulted to sticking some tracks up on her official site, hernameisnicole.com, and having some of her fans vote on what the next single should be. Among these tracks were the Akon-produced, “Puankenikeni.” It also features a cameo from Konvict signees, Brick & Lace. And it seems to be the winner. If you’re unfamiliar, the puakenikeni is a beautiful Hawaiian flower. So it seems as though Nicole is paying homage to her heritage.
“Puakenikeni” is the third single from the lead Pussycat Doll’s debut solo album, Her Name Is Nicole. I can’t say whether I like or dislike the song, but I will say that I think that this is what they should have been going for straight from the beginning. People know Nicole for dancing, and I think that if she puts out a solid dance video for the track, it may be good for her.
