Looks like 2007 isn’t a great year for Remy. After being arrested for criminal charges, the victim she allegedly shot is now suing the rapper for $10 million!:
Rapper Remy Ma “willfully, wantonly and maliciously” shot and critically wounded an acquaintance, a $10 million civil lawsuit filed against her claimed on Friday.
Barnes-Joseph filed the suit in Manhattan federal court, naming as defendants several of the rapper’s recording companies, including Universal Music Group, owned by French media group Vivendi, and Sure Shot Recordings.
The suit claims the music companies encouraged the rapper to engage in violent behavior as part of her image. Source

Trey Songz recently got in to a scuffle at a performance in Rhode Island. The uploader of the video said that a few audience members “threw ice on him”, which caused Trey to go flying off the stage to kick somebody’s ass.

Yung Joc isn’t having a good holiday. He was already arrested Christmas Eve for carrying a loaded gun on the airport – which, I still don’t get when folks know the airports don’t play these days. Now he is considered a fugitive for not showing up to a scheduled court date:
He was charged with a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon and booked into the Cuyahoga County Jail. The rapper was released on $50,0000 dollars bond the same day.
Yung Joc’s lawyer issued a statement claiming his client was not sure how the gun ended up in his carry on luggage and maintained his innocence.
Today (December 26), prosecutors plan to issue an arrest warrant for the rapper, who missed a scheduled court date in Cuyahoga County County to respond to the charge.
Yung Joc’s lawyer Stanley Jackson Jr. apologized to Judge John Ryan and claimed that his famous client was out of town on personal and family business. SOURCE

Might sound silly now, but it has happened before. T.I.-you know, this has been a controversial year for him. He’s won some awards, got into some petty scuffles, and got held up before an award show and taken in. Along with using this time at home to be with his family and get some needed rest, he should reflect on his mistakes this year and make some changes for 2008. Being a professional rapper doesn’t constitute as a punk at all, just look at Jay, Common, and even Nas now.
