I think the Dream has some alright songs. He is a little “T Pain-ish” in my book. “Shorty is a 10″ is my shit.

I like the falsetto song. But it would be better if it were sung by someone with a less weird voice. I seriously thought this guy was like 13 when i first heard shawty is a 10.

Can only put up with him for a couple songs.. my tolerance for him is along the lines of T-Pain or Akon…. I’ll pass

I’ll give him a listen and I want to hear more of his writing for other artists before I make a judgement but thus far he doesn’t live up to all the hype.

i love falsetto but after listening to these songs, i’m cringing at hearing aye and ella ella over and over randomly in every song. that is the biggest detraction from the songs. i was considering buying the album but i would have to listen to the rest b/c if he does that crap in every song, i’d rather not waste my money

the only thing fantastic he wrote was bed by j.holiday. other songs are not that great but i like his delivery.

he is very catchy and apparently thats all you need. he needs to write a hit for his wife nivea cause i actually like her.

i saw the falsetto video yesterday and it was sooo wack but i loooove that song too.

why does he say eh eh eh? all the time? obviously its his signature so when he writes for other artists….you can automatically tell he wrote it but why when he sings he says it?

I don’t like it, the only song I’ve heard from him that I like is “Shawty is a 10″ like someone else said you can only listen to him for a couple of songs. I also think as a writer he is overrated. I wouldn’t say The Dream puts Ne-yo to shame because unlike The Dream, Ne-yo has written some mature records. The Dream is alright in my opinion. “Shawty is a 10″ grew on me but his vocal arrangement to me is annoying..he might grow on me but I dunno we’ll see.lol..I’m not going to hate on him. I just think some songwriters are better being songwriters than artist because they don’t have that “it” factor. I think that way about Keri as an artist her songs are very average by herself but when she write for others they are really nice…I dunno I think Keri and The Dream needed more preparation on their image before putting out for everyone..lol.but no shade to The Dream he is making a lot of money for her songs this year he did his thing;)

I hope The Dream is very successful despite rumors, and criticism. I personally like him thus far. Falsetto is my new crack at the moment. Now I will say that ella eh eh should be removed from his vocabulary. He is a talented man and I see no reason to pick someone apart from day 1.
