Reverend Run and his wife Justine Simmons adopted an American-born baby girl in September, who they named Miley Justine Simmons. Miley was one month old when they brought her home and will make her debut on the family’s MTV reality series, Run’s House, in January.

BRANDY NOT AT FAULT?

According to recently released reports, Brandy may not have been at fault for the death of a woman in a car accident that took place in Los Angeles late last year.
Apparently the women hit the car in front of her first and then slammed on her brakes causing Brandy to barrel into her. They also found traces of marijuana in the women who passed.
The L.A. City Attorney has until the end of the business day on Friday to decide whether to file criminal charges against Brandy — that’s when the one-year statute of limitations runs out. Sources tell TMZ there is significant division in the City Attorney’s office, and a decision still has not been made. The problem for the City Attorney: if they file manslaughter charges, they have to prove Brandy did something negligent — and we’re told that could be difficult if not impossible. [SOURCE]
Brandy is THE BEST! THE BEST! I love her. She is so sweet and would NEVER intentionally want to harm someone. My heart goes out to the lady and her family but I’m so ready for Bran to get past this and release her new album next year!
I didn’t know the Simmons family wanted a baby that bad. I mean she lost the last one and all. I guess they wanted another newborn at like 50. I hate that show and Rev. Ron is a joke to the Church.

Brandy went through false accusations over nothing. She been stressed out she havent been making her music and she need to sue their asses for pain and suffering.
I knew it was going to be something more to that Brandy story. I am glad that it appears her name will be cleared. And the baby is beautiful.

#23: There are so many children out there who need a home. Personally, I do not think it matters what race the parents are as long as the child is taken care of, loved, and treated right. All kids deserve loving parents and race shouldn’t matter.
I must admit I was really nervous for my girl Brandy. I wasn’t there so I truly don’t know what happened. I thank GOD that everything seems to be going in a positive direction for her. My condolences to the victim and my prayers to Brandy as well. I can’t wait for a new Brandy album. Also, I don’t care what race adopts what other race, as long as the child gets all the love and attention he/she wouldn’t get spending time in an orphanage. Yes, it’s great when blacks adopt black children (I’m all for it) but at the end of the day, that kid (black, white, hispanic, asian, etc.) is just happy to be in a loving home.

If for some reason the links don’t work for you here is a short summary in my own words. “The prosecutors decided there was insufficient evidence for the case to go to trial. They felt a jury could not find her guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of vehicular manslaughter. The maximum she could have received is one year in jail and a $1000 fine. The DA had to make the decision because the statute of limitation (1 Year) was running out for charging her with VM. Top accident reconstructionists were consulted. The circumstances were very complicated. The Highway Patrol report submitted in Dec 2006 recommended she be charged.”
(My comment: Although it is dangerous to draw conclusions, but I am speculating that even the accident reconstructionists could not determine she was primarily at fault. My prayers are with the family of the victim and with Brandy and family as well.)

Brandi should still be punished for killing that woman. You should NEVER ride so close to someone that you run into the back of them if they have to suddenly hit their brakes.
