America’s Next Top Model is over this season and could the winner be more obvious this go around? I didn’t even watch and I knew who the winner was (thanks to the internet).
Saliesha Stowers from L.A came out on top but, her win seems to be causing a bit of controversy already. It was discovered early on that she worked with Tyra at her T-Zone camp and became more obvious she won when she appeared on the Tyra Banks show this season working the runway. The winner also has appeared in a Wendy’s ad and on “Ugly Betty”, which IMO has nothing to do with modeling…but whatever.
Anyone who can rock a Tootie hairstyle for that long deserves a win. Congrats to her!
Speaking of finales, who watched the last episode of Keyshia Cole’s “The Way It Is”? Boy, they should never end that show. We need another few months footage of Frankie and Neffe. Matter of fact – Tyler Perry needs to call them for the next Madea movie.
I don’t think the show is going anywhere when a reported 2.9 million viewers and 2.0 million households watched the finale on Tuesday. Thanks to Keyshia and her hood family drama, it is now the #1 series telecast in BET history.
Now what is this I hear about a Blaque reality TV show? You all remember Blaque? The group discovered by the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez around 99/2000?
Well they are back together now, and were recently spotted over the weekend at Keri Hilson’s bday party (pictured above). Their upcoming show, reportedly titled Blaque by Pop Demand, will follow the trio as they make their comeback under their new mentor Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins. No word on what network it will be on…
Last but, not least here are stills from this weeks episode of “The Game” that I didn’t get a chance to post about earlier this week. I really can’t say much on the episode because…it wasn’t exciting or anything.

That is so true…I’m black, and i refuse to sit up here and say Saleisha she deserved to win when she clearly didn’t….She was nowhere near the best. I don’t care what color you are, it’s either you’re good, or you’re not good in my book. Saleisha SUCKED balls in my opinion, especially when you compare her to some of the other girls that were competing against her. Jenah could model circles around her ass, and Tyra knew this!! Anyone who watched this season in its entirety, with any type of brain, would know that Jenah and Heather should have been the true Top 2, with Jenah winning the competition. Yes, those “white girls” kicked ass this season. You can say what you wanna say, but this season was RIGGED and true models were ROBBED. Don’t take my word for it….Go back and watch this ENTIRE SEASON, (not just the finale episode), and see for yourself….You will see that it has absolutely nothing to do with race……those girls were MILES BETTER than Saleisha.

I dont watch Keyshia Cole either, but from what I read here, I dont know how I feel about her family’s dysfunction bringing in TV ratings. In a way I think its sad that’s the only way BET can get ratings is to broadcast that madness like its all we as black folks are into. Almost as bad as VH1 airing crap like Flavor of Love and I Love NY. But I guess since ppl watch it…
Blaque was cool, they just are not consistent…at all….but I’m down for another round if they are going to give it.
I enjoyed the Keysha Cole Show. Sad that her family goes through that. But all families have issues.

AS A BLACK FAMILY AND NATION WE SEE THESE PROBLEMS THAT KEISHA COLE IS GOING THROUGH. HER STORY IS ALL SO COMMON IN OUR LIVES, OUR NEIGHBORHOODS, FRIENDS , FAMILY WHATEVER…. . ON ONE HAND I WAS ANGRY AT THE PEOPLE WHO ENCOURAGED KEISHA TO DO THIS SHOW (THE PRODUCER) TO EXPLOIT BLACK PEOPLE IN A NEGATIVE IMAGE AROUND THE WORLD. ON THE OTHER HAND THIS SHOW CAN HELP SOMEONE OUT WHO IS IN THIS SAME SITUATION AND CAN GUIDE THEM TO GET SOME HELP, SO IT WONT BE A CANCER THAT SETS IN THERE HEART FOREVER.
