The Real World just wrapped up on its twentieth season taping of the new Hollywood cast and here is half of the confirmed cast members. Now of course, all 5 were not originally in the house – Britini and Nick were later added to the cast after 2 houseguests ended up leaving for whatever reasons.
One glance of all of these good looking black folks, and you would think College Hill was moving to MTV. According to the Vevmo Real World forum, the cast of this season’s real world are aspiring actors, models, and etc.
ALICIA ON THE VIEW
Alicia Keys stopped by The View this week and spoke on Jamie Lynn Spears and her pregnancy. She was quoted as sending this message to the young teen:
“I think that maybe she can use this opportunity to talk about the ways that it’s really important to have safe sex and it’s difficult [for teens] to refrain and restrain but it’s really important because it changes your whole life.”
Right on Miss Keys. Mary J. Blige and John Legend were also quoted on congratulating Spears and giving wise words of advice.
CLASH OF THE CHOIRS OVER
Yep its over and I felt kind of sad that Miss Patti couldn’t take this one. Nick Lachey and his choir won the $250,000 for a charity of his choice. Though I felt Patti and her choir was more raw with it, all contestants come out winners and will still receive funds for their charities.
Why the hell is does everyone feel the need to give Jaime lynn Spears advice? My God, she knew what the fuck she was doing when she opened her legs, geez. Anywayz, hmmm, looks like an interestin season of Real World, def. gonna watch it, i was waiting 4 them to bring an all black cast, and maybe one white person, or maybe an all gay cast and one straight person.
After reading the spoilers I noticed its going to be 3 blk and 4 whts in the house orignally….then when two leave it will be reversed to 4 blk and 3 whts.
Definately going to be interesting to watch
MTV gonna get they white viewers mad with all these black faces!!…. I will be watching!!

Sooooo the real world isnt so real after all… you’ve got trained personalities ready for the camera rather than some regular shmoes… So i expect much to be staged… Between that, The Hills, and College Hill, i think these shows need to hit the trash…. Well College Hill shaped up to become more positive with the intern stuff… At least they taught em some life lessons rather than passing mono throught the house…

This is the first 1/2 black cast for the Real World perhaps they think more people will tune in-the ratings will increase…I used to be a fan, the cast was so typical. It should be interesting…I am thinking another College Hill, although I hope not!
I think the Spears family is simply going through what any average (non-Hollywood0 family would be going through. People make bad decisions all the time their dirty laundry (Brit’s and her sister’s) is just in the open.
@69 and others who believe the MTV-BET or whatever is racist I don’t get it…where does racism factor in to any of this….FOLKS are always saying something is racist…GEEZE! Get over yourselves…and if you are wondering – I AM BLACK TOO . Be proud to see some black people on TV -mainstream at that. Hell they didn’t have to hire them nor did the cast have to accept the job. GIVE ME A BREAK!!

The token black thing was getting a little played out. And MTV has way too many I’m rich and white brat shows for my taste. This will indeed boost ratings with the blacks. It also seems like a very productive and inspiring cast of black folks. Then again, they could have picked the most ignant negroes out the bunch. I’m interested to see how this turns out. Hopefully they are trying to project us in a positive light with this casting choice. If not, MTV is going down in my book……….

Motherfuckin’ word. Being a confident black woman myself, I get so SICK of my fellow black people ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS blaming the white man for their situation. And whenever a black person becomes succesful, they say ‘oohh, they white now, they CATER to white people now’. Fuck that! Stop being so sour over everything and nothing, because EVERYONE can reach something in life. I know I did.
Alicia Key’s is such a positive role model for young black female’s! People attack her for absolutely no reason! She isn’t one of those girls out here selling their soul’s for a dollar,(beonyce),selling everything from satellite tv to telephones! She is involved in charities and she is always trying to raise awareness about current issues. She’s not one of those people who can make a difference but choose not too, because they are too busy dancing around shaking their ass…Uh oh uh oh
You cant judge this season by the last, I think that Brianna chick is to fine, I herd that girl can sing too. I herd some of her music and it is off the hook. I would watch out for her, if I had to guess, we’ll be seeing a lot of her soon. xoxox

Oh…I’m sorry, do I sense some jealousy?? If it is really that lame of a show and its sooooo damn predictable, why on earth do u and others who share the same opinion continue to watch and blog about it weekly?? Honestly, do you really think Bunim/Murray or MTV values your opinion?? The show is still going strong.
