MTV got the exclusive on J. Lo’s new video for her second single from her Brave album, “Hold It, Don’t Drop It.” This is the follow-up to “Do It Well.” Although Brave hasn’t been doing good numbers, and reportedly, her album’s photoshoot cost more than the album has pulled in with sales so far, she managed to get a second video out.
In any event, J. Lo looks good in the video.

I don’t care what yal haters on here say about J.Lo I love this song and its one of my favs on Brave (which is a really good cd). I was hoping she would release “Mile In These Shoes” cause I know it would spark the sales. And nothing is wrong with her voice. She is not a Whitney or Mariah but she has a good voice and if some of you guys actually listened to the cd you would know. But she is a woman that people (more Women) love to hate on. And as far as her jacking Beyonce, PLEASE!!!! I mean I am a big fan of both, but I have to call it like I see it. Beyonce has been so jacking J.Lo’s style for the longest. The only reason there are similarities with the particular video is because Melina directed Hold It Don’t Drop It (she did most of Beyonce’s videos for the video anthology dvd). J-Lo do you thing!!!

Don’t get me wrong, 1/2 the music industry is influenced by other artists, we all know that. I just like to here credit given when taken and that hardly ever happens with her. The whole Irreplacable fiasco for instance, she told everyone she wrote it until Neyo came up and spoke up then she gave credit. Same with the robot suit but she’s still sticking to her story that she had a dream, never once has she given Ms. Kylie credit We all know Diana Ross’ can’t stand her lol and Prince said he didn’t enjoy performing with her at the Grammy’s b/c she hogged the mic.
