The song and video are beautiful. Anyone who saw his special on MTV can understand why they chose this song as a single.
Mario is finally showing his range on this album, he has always had nice voice.

Go Mario! This is such a beautiful message and so many families can benefit from this message being put out there. You have so many rough necks out there putting out music about how they are making so much money selling drugs but now we can see how their duties effect the families. Shux, just look at Keyshia Cole’s mom. I don’t even know if drugs are really her issue any more. She really needs to calm down because she just makes Keyshia’s image appear more ghetto and sloppy than real. Neffe is such a real woman about hers but Frankie really needs to calm down. I mean you can be real without being all loud and rambunctious like that, but this is not about them. But back to Mario, I am really glad that he is even stepping up to the plate to help his mom because I know that that just has to be a hard thing to witness and go through as a child. I hope and pray that she remains clean. Oh and i’ve always liked his music. He is very talented. Team Mario!

no matter if this is a single or a PSA Mario has major talent and there are many artist out here who are riding on the BS high of the industry where most of the music that they sing is meaningless. Over half of the music that Beyonce puts out is meaningless but people still love her. there are major artist in this industry whom if they were asked to write a song that had substance could not find the first word, y bcuz half of them don’t write anyway…at the end of the day, the record companies don’t care about anything but record sales. Anyone who knows quality music knows that the real artists’ of the industry will never get the shine cuz people don’t want to hear the positive but thrive on the negative so the can have something to put down or gossip about!!!!!!!!!! Take the song for what it is worth and give the man his props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes it’s about what a person feels. We can’t forget that he makes music for himself too and if Alicia Keys can put out thought-provoking and soul searching music than so can Mario. Many artists take different directions sometimes.. Mary is one of them and I love her to death. I think his fan base will still support him. Im sure one single about him loving his mother is not going to break his career. Many people can relate to his message, even if their parents aren’t drug addicts, and I think its inspirational. Keep doin you Mario! I was never a big fan of yours but this has helped me see that you are not concerned with JUST selling records and you get a thumbs up for that. Keep GOD first and all else will come!

What does it matters if this is his first, third or last single for the CD?
If people are listening to and purchasing music based purely on what individual songs are released – that’s some real foolishness.
Most people don’t wait until they release all of the cuts on a CD to decide to purchase the CD – in fact, unless it’s a new artist, you already know whether or not you like an artist’s musical and artistic style. If you’re a fan, you buy the music because you want to listen to it — not because of the order singles were released.
This music industry got folks so twisted, they they don’t even use logic and common sense anymore.
I heard this aint his new single & that he released the video for the message & that he is dropping somet else!

This is a really good song and a great video with a nice message, but i wish they would’ve released something that had more potential to be a hit song..mario works so hard and he really deserve to be successful, even if it is my mainstream/radio standards.
I absolutely LOVE this song. While watching his MTV documentary I heard it during one of the scenes and automatically fell in love with it. When I finally heard the while song I was so proud of him for coming out with his story and the song. He is very talented and seems like a geniune person. I hope this single does well, I hope his mom stays clean too.

Seriously though, this song is very inspiring and emotional. I can appreciate Mario doing this for his mommy. One should always reverence the womb that bore them, the problem is that most don’t, and this is what’s wrong with society now! Hats off to you Mario for doing right by your mom and helping her to do right for herself.

Mario is representing Baltimore to the fullest. I will be purchasing the cd GO. The video and the song is representing a message for his addiction campaign. At least he is supporting something that is positive. Every family in America at some point is affected by drugs. I commend Mario for the message……………..:)

I bought the album because I thought it was a very solid album and Mario voice is amazing. Its a really good cd that everyone should give a chance. It shouldn’t take hot singles for you to support a good cd, which Mario definately has. This is most likely not the 3rd single release.
OMG the video is great i really loved it i’ve always been a mario fan but the video really opened up a more personal side of him for me and i really enjoyed seeing that and im glad he put that out there to show that he is human like his fans and not just some star and I loved the album!!!! another great album from Mario! Got to love him!

Why is everyone comparing Mario’s songs to Soulja Boy’s? Soulja Boy is a rapper and Mario is a singer. Two different types of musical mediums.
Now if we were gonna compare the crappyness of music today then I’d say songs like Kiss Kiss, Tattoo, and London Bridge that have made it to number 1 are ruining music. Mario is on his grind and yet idiots still buy the crap that make it to the top of the charts instead.
Mario’s third single will be Music for Love. He has stated this several times. This is just a promotional clip.
