I wasn’t impressed. She looks GREAT!, but like others have said, it’s the same ole, same ole. That’s just real. And her people know it, that’s why they didn’t release it. But this is not an official video or single. The video shot back in May and was suppose to be released right after CLEA. I believe they’re only releasing to the net…since the already shot it, they mind as well let the fans see it.

I want to see Ciara step her game up next time around. To whoever said she needs to step away from Jazze…she already did that. He only produced one song on TE. Personally, I feel that’s what was lacking on TE. Maybe getting back with him is a good thing, because what she did last time was too hot.

Ci had some great new moves in this video. I liked the fact that she paid homeage to her dirty south roots in this one. Ci you rep the Derty with grace and style gurl! Keep doing your thang! And thank you for finally releasing this video for the fans who had been asking for you!

I cannot believe some of you are really upset because people don’t like something Ciara did. Ummmm, she sucks. Ok? “Promise” was a really good sound and direction for her (with the exception of the ill-fitting & childish “sexy street dance” portion of the video) and a smart person might have released songs in a similar vein and played on that new, more artistic, vintage 80’s pop sound. But, no…somebody in charge wasn’t smart enough to tell her to stay the course…and so, she reverted to this mediocre, grasping, endless if-one-of-Uncle-Luke’s-girls-had-a-record-deal-and-was-trying-not-to-be-vile sorta thing. She can’t sing, her writing is pseudo-intellectual, her dancing is unsophisticated, and her look is so 90’s-trend (she’s really a misplaced pocket away from hammer pants). She is, as the kids say, a HOT MESS. Okay? Ciara??? I refuse to believe so many of you really like this girl! She’s for the kid’s who shouldn’t have to think too hard…maybe you are kids, though..and in that case, Merry Xmas, babes!!

8baller, theres nothing wrong with releasing more singles from an album. Its a very good thing. Especially these days with everything declining and what not, it wasn’t like this a before. Even just a decade ago it was better. Usually artists now don’t have enough push to get more than 2 or 3 singles out, be it their budget, their record label, etc. Its not really about “promotion” so to speak.

Her target audience is tweens/teens, I wouldnt want my kids lookin at that. Also, she needs a new choreographer. The 1994 dance moves were kewl for a couple of videos but now its played out.
