You may remember Tyra B. from her 2005 single, “Country Boy.” Now she’s back, inking a new deal with Warner Bros. This is the video for her new single, “Givin’ Me A Rush.” Her debut album, Introducing Tyra, is set to release early ’08.

Tyra can barely sing but what is up with these VA people and the dancing? When did that happen? Chris Brown and I’m pretty sure if Trey Songz started dancing he might be really good.
It does kinda jack the melody of Paula Abdul’s “Rush-Rush”. But I’m so happy that Tyra B (It First was just Tyra) came back into the limelight. I Remember when she was the opening act for the Destiny’s Child Tour and I was blown away by her performance and stage presence. Ciara doesn’t have nuttin on this chick. She sings better and she doesnt need that bullshit Matrix move to make her a good dancer. Hopefully she will the proper management to market her correctly and make Ciara quiet down and focus on her act…LOL

I agree with you #9, something about her does seem a little MC Lyte-ish, probably her mannerisms& facial features.
I am glad to see she is still trying to hanging in there; they are trying to market her now with more versatility i.e. the “dancing”. this shall be fun to watch seeing that Ciara has been deemed the ‘dancing-queen’ of our era.

She very much has some Aaliyah like things about her, although her voice is nowhere near as smooth and beautiful, and her dancing isn’t as graceful. That being said, Choreography is great, production is great, use of the MJ sample is perfect. The non-dancing segments are a little boring, but overall I’d say this is at least her best video so far.
Its scary how much she looks like MC LYTE ( i wonder if she is any way related to her?). I’d rather hear a little MEGAN ROCHELLE Or TEEDRA MOSES than tyra.

she’s not original at all, her style is some what a mixture of alot of other artist out there. Like Aaliyah, Ciara, Rihanna(when she first came out) & lil’ mama. She can not dance & the scene where she had that black on, that was so ciara. None of the artist these days are different in anyway, from the songs down to the whole style. All i can say is one hit wonder. & stop trying to back her up, ya’ll are so brain washed that you dont know real music from industry garbage. she is like the other artist carbon copys who can not set a trend but follows instead.

I don’t think she’s copying anyone, she’s just being herself. You can tell because she’s actually a lot more butch-looking than the last time she came out.
But yah, she does favour MC Lyte ALOT lol! I like the song, its simple and sweet and I do like the songwriting as well. The choreography is very different and complex too, which I also like. Overall, I’m diggin it. Question, what’s up with the naked girl and the dude on the laptop. Are they brother and sister? Why the dirty looks? LOL

Why are is everyone Comparing her to Aaliyah and Ciara ok first of all I bet ya didn’t know she toured with Aaliyah before and second she came out before Ciara so who is copying ? Aaliyah didn’t really dance that great sorry to say rest her soul but look at her video’s and performance she had cool vibe to her dancing. I’m sure she would improved in her dancing if she was alive.
