Its a hot video, the choreography is excellent, I like the way the dancing matches with those moving lines. The song just isn’t doing it though, it’s Jason Boyd’s lackluster writing, the chorus is shit! She needs some hot writers like The Clutch to lace her with a catchy single. Ms. Kelly is a good album but she needs a hot single that will get her some mainstream success and sell the album. I hope those rumours she’s working with Danja are true and she gets Keri & The Clutch on board like Britney did, because it worked for her!

She has the look, she has the voice, but she just needs the right management to make her career a success, I really want her to do well. I know its a cliche I just wish she would step out from Matthew Knowles but I understand how scary that must be when she’s used to the comfort of the family but this is business.

It’s good to see Kelly releasing another video… after Ghetto I was scarred we wouldn’t see this one… I admit I wanted a little more but I love Kelly…

The problem lies in her team for real, The direction and conceptual execution is lacking majorily. I’m not an expert but here’s food for thought. The video seems rushed in lack of content, if you want to compare her with a classic Beyonce vid, notice that when every new verse begins there is a new action, look, or scene…Kelly doesn’t get that instead they play one scene in throughout the video, transpose a few close-up’s and maybe one special or alternate scene to break up the apparent continuation, but the editing is lacking inspiration that’s why even if you love it to begin with you are bored by the end. If you using one scene like that, you have to tell some type of story.I love a good dance break to end a video but you should try to highlight the artist and use as little enhancements as possible and let the performance speak for itself. and Have fun…uptempo’s should be fun and fast moving which for the most part this video is.

I live in houston maybe I should apply for a job at music world and work my way up to help Kelly because I think they try to give her some help but she need people who are focus on moving her along rather than a brand or playing second fiddle forever

I’m so happy some people stood up for Kelly. I’ve always been a fan of hers. I enjoyed her voice much better back i n the day when she used to roll her voice and use it’s power, but i understand her music is different now. Personally, I like the song. I thought the video was hot. I think i liked the one with snoop better though. It looked more fun and she was super hot in it. Overall, the dancing is great. she’s always been a good dancer. Kelly is very beautiful. And I love the “Ms. Kelly” CD. However, she lacks…something…stage presence maybe? She doesn’t draw me in with her live performances and video at all. And that’s really sad, because I do think she has a very unique voice, and she is talented. Too bad that singing doesn’t stand on it’s own anymore.

Really enjoyed the song and the video…it is a lil’ bit like Amerie’s/Beyonce’s sound as far as with the drums ( perhaps same producer)….however I feel like this could be a great single for her….BUT the whole re-release concept….Can we say “B-Day” in reverse…don’t think (in this case) a re-release will do this album anymore justice/push more units…unless she has hella remixes with some MAJOR cameos on there….But all in all she is looking lovely and reppin for the Beautiful Brown Sistas!

Everyone talks about how Kelly is trying her damndest to copy Beyonce, but looking at this video I must say I don’t see it. Is it the set? Cause when I look at old Eurythmics, Europe (the group), or Kylie Minogue videos–or newer J-Pop videos–everyone is in a “disco” full of flashing lights and whatnot. I’m also unable to recall the last time Beyonce gave you a chignon and some ruffles… Since this is a video for a EUROPEAN single, all the team decided to do was make a video that would appeal to the EUROPEAN market. What they didn’t take into account, I guess, was the typical American Beyonce fan’s lack of exposure to anything beyond our shores.

I will say though, that while I thought the set was one of the hottest I’d seen in a long time, I was still over it in about 2 minutes. So yeah, something’s missing.

Nope, I been put my money where my mouth was…. I got both albums and I been eyeing Kelly since back when they was on “Straight from tha Streetz” with D-SOLO, so I know she is a talented chick. Bump all the superficial stuff like a new haircut or her look… Kelly does indeed need to take a risk not to sell but to just validate her own star….She belongs on the charts and she will continue to get better and better.

I truly wonder how much of her efforts consist of “yeah that will be good, but i can’t do it because people might think i’m copying”. I hope we all realize we aren’t in an age of innovation and every idea is inspired by others. Yeah Kelly, Beyonce, and Amerie have their own teams but they all answer to the same blanket label executive and i guess their theory is if it works…

Would someone kindly explain to me what is “Beyonce” and what is feminine? Long hair? Tight dress? Sexy dance moves? Bright video? I am quite sure that if Kelly wasn’t in DC, they wouldn’t be making these same comparisons to her. I thought that the video was tight, and that she looked fantastic.
