Something about this video is really off. It just didn’t work. Keyshia has beautiful, clear, smooth skin, so that is working for her. Didn’t like the hair in most of the shots. Hated the shots of her from the back. Hated the black dress, made her look like she has no waist. I liked the shots of her in the fur. She’s trying to come off soft, and it almost worked, but it didn’t really. The song is alright, I won’t be playing it. She’s got a nice rack for someone so tiny.

I can say that Keisha you are becoming a woman! and so what you look like a blonde rooster (#5) lol and so what are constantly compared to MJB, in which we all know are to two peas in a pod.. ( musically they have the same struggle: hard times+ rough around the edges+ soul searching+bad relationships=I’m free now) types of songs.. b/c history repeats look at what we have. So go ahead girl make that money but please get some variety to your musical style! but it is nice the hear her voice with out all the extra hoopla. I had to laugh though the laying on the bed shots reminded me of a corny -Alicia Keys in my boo… remember those scenes? all in all the she looks nice, cleaned up abit, i am sure her mom will be proud!
If memory serves me right wasn’t her the gap between her teeth non-existent in that “I just want it too be over’ video?

I think Keisha is very real and this is why I like her. I remember when they tried to clown her on a particular radio show about her first reality show. The thing was even then in the interview she was being real and they thought she was trying to be funny. Keeping doing your thing Kiesha. I respect her because she is making a living and working hard. She didn’t let the nay sayers dictate her life. She’s an inspiration and I like the fact she keeps growing and growing.

The video was okay ( none of her video’s are great). I think they were going for a softer look this time. She then said she was joking but I knew she really wasn’t by the way she said it. I was embarressed for him.

This the best song and video from Keyshia Cole’s new album. This is awesome. I never she was that short though.

I for one can see a beautiful transition here. I am one of her hardcore fans, because she has tremendous talent and extremely sexy. I think she really is half Italian, it shows in her eyebrows and facial bone structure. She just don’t wanna admit it, but it ain’t nothing wrong with spaghetti and collard greens. As far as the video goes, I like it, there are shots that I do like, and don’t. For instance, I luv the shot with her sitting at the bar with the lipstick in her hand, looks very classic early nineties, female R&B. The shot with her in the dark singing, the dress is not cutting it. It looks too tight for her, but not in a good way. I am mesmerized by her curves, but the dress takes them all away and makes her shoulders look unattractive. For that type of scene, she could have taken it back to the Jazz era and just wore a simple black-double strap dress with a flower in her hair and that would have been breathtaking.
I think that every video she does shows growth. But I also feel there are some things that could make her even better. She does have much happier material on her album, and maybe a song like-”Give Me More” or “Heaven Sent” would have been more appropriate for a third single. I think that’s the main issue that prevents her from going all the way mainstream, because a lot of people are tired of sorrow. You’ve been through it, we know, but that was years ago, you’re famous now, so sing about happiness- just like Mary did.
Which brings me to the whole Mary scenario again. As much as both of them are tired of the comparisons, they are just there. Tough childhood, relationship struggles, edgy personality, you name it. But a good start to be more of her own is to put that red back in her hair, and least some strands of it. Lets face it, that is the first visual comparison you see, and when Keyshia first came out, that blond and red had “Keyshia Cole” stamped all over it. I miss it because it was original, and she looks really hot with it. But honestly, I feel that these two label mates need to do a photo shoot together and post it in The Source or Vibe, since this shit is getting so much press. I just think that it would be good promotion for both of them and show each other’s respect for one another.

I’m not even a fan of Keysha Cole, but I like this song, and the video was really nice. Glad to see her softer side for once. She is following the Mary look, but hey if thats who she is then thats her.

I couldn’t even get passed the first 30 seconds, I just hit the stop button after that. I mean my gosh, will she ever had a video that’ll actually gets somebody into it? And whoever threw that ‘mess of a blonde’ on her head ought to me ashamed of themselves, she probably despised it herself but didn’t feel like getting it redone.

Keyshia’s getting played, seriously. Somebody is capitalizing off this girl’s naivete. She is NOT a good writer, PERIOD. Her songs are always unfinished and simple…you can literally, when first hearing each of her songs, SING ALONG. They’re so simple like: “We’ll be friends”…what? Well, I’ll take, “til the end” for $500, Keyshia. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddd! What have we got? Ahhhhhhhh: “til the end”.
It’s lame. Her verses are the most banal, choppy cliches and she doesn’t even harmonize…she just leaves them poor and jagged. And, we all praise her for it, but it’s honestly ONLY worked in “Love.” This song was ridiculous. I can understand she’s “real” but they should really get some writers to help her fully realize these thoughts…because what she’s giving us now is so underdeveloped.

For a lot of people the video has become the basis of the song — instead of the other way around. Music has changed so you can’t release a single without a video, but this song, these lyrics…. doesn’t require a video. The more simplistic the video the better.

This is the type of song that allows the individual to create their own video in their mind… because if you can’t relate to the lyrics, if you live long enough…. you will.

Sorry I have the cd and I have the first one but this cd fails in comparison. We as women have heartbreak and we can identify with some things but I myself get tired of hearing about all damn cd long. We need some variety… It’s like when bad singers sing gospel on the apollo just so they won’t be booed…don’t use songs about heartache and broken relationships to get a sympthy purchase.

the video was nice so shut the fuck up….what else could she have done with the song..i like how she wiped off all the make up..it shows her on the bed lookin sad….heartbroken..remembering…..and when the guy was touching her….it was a beautiful simple video nothing too flashy….i guess people dont know deep videos when they see them…Gud job Keyshia!

The video was perfect for the song. It was meant to show the hurt and pain of the lyrics. It’s one of my favorites on the cd. I don’t know what you all would expect for this type of song. Was she supposed to be violent and throwing things (again), crying, commiting suicide, whoopin a mo-fo or the other women’s azz, have Geezy’s picture on the bed?? What?? Please enlighten us as to what she could’ve done to make you haters LOVE the video instead of just saying it was boring! Keep doing you Keyshia.

I’ve listened to alot of her radio interviews where she is just doing too much,… one of the dj’s has to ask her was it killing her to be there!! I haven’t spent my money on the album either…. Keyshia’s vocals have really matured and so has she. She appears to be comfortable in her own skin, that is probably why she decided not to get her teeth fixed. I like this song and the video is mellowed out just like the song.
