but wow…there is a lot of criticism on the board today…which criticism is fine…if it’s constructive…but hey…you can’t please everyone…Ne-yo is a great writer and has made many hits…he’s not the best singer as far as “Luther Vandross or Gerald Levert” but he’s not bad…it’s funny…people say all his songs sound the same…but he’s found his niche and it works for him…the minute someone tries to divert from the “norm” people will still have something negative to say…so you can’t win for losing…such is life.
The song is dope, but he could of got any Director to shoot it. Instead of paying Hypes hefty price tag, if he wanted the video this simple…

He’s a real artist, sincere writer, has a sweet voice, and I love the way he dresses. I know I’m riding him a little bit, but I don’t care, lol. I’m a BIG fan!!! I love Ne-Yo and this is one of my favorite songs but this video is soooooooooooooo fuckin lame. It has nothing to do with the song and it’s not even creative. I hope the song does well at radio because thats his only hope for this becoming the hit it deserves to be with a wack ass video like this.

These guys Stargate keep using the same drum patterns on their songs. I liek Ne-yo but I think Hype is becoming overly creative with the videos to the point where it doesn’t match the song or it could compliment the song. Hype is my boy and he has inspired me to become a music video director myself but Hype come on honey you can do better!
