Stop your bitchin! Just because you’ve had life problems relating to how you’re black as the night itself doesn’t mean that every other dark skinned individual has had those same problems.

I’m light skinned but that doesn’t mean that I haven’t had my share of problems because of my race and skin tone, so stop acting like dark skinned people aren’t treated the same as every other African-American.

How about thinking this? Maybe the dark skinned females would rather do something better with their lives than shaking their ass for some random rapper. The half-naked females in this video are nothing but low-brow, prostitutes who whore themselves out to musicians patiently waiting for the day that they get the chance to get knocked up by one of these rappers/actors/singers.

When the album first came out, this was the song that I kept on repeat. I’m glad it finally made it as a sinlge.

This is one of the better songs on the Ne-Yo album but the video def did not go with the song. It seemed like he was trying to prove that he actually likes girls with this one because the half naked chicks were def unnecessary. But Ne-Yo did look more attractive than usual. If he was tryna gain some sex appeal with the ladies and trying to prove that he likes girls as much as the next guy, then he did it with this video.

Eh… it’s an okay song. He has a nice voice. BUT, it sounds like most of his songs as of late; a diluted “to the left, to the left” song by Mrs. Overrated.

With that said, I REALLY miss Usher. No one can top him in my opinion. Eh. Hopefully he’ll come back hard in 2008.

Damn girl I agree with you 100%. Tired of everyone making this a darkskin vs lightskin issue. I know that some people do prefer lighter skin over darker skin but damn people we are all considered black to “White America” so let’s just give it a rest.

I’m a light skin African American/ Spanish person and trust me I get discriminated against also. So please don’t think that it’s just dark skin people. You are letting others dictate your self worth and it’s you who have the skin color issue not everyone else. Who the hell cares if they only portray lightskin females in videos? Does that make you feel less attractive because you are darkskin? If it does then that’s an issue you need to work out with yourself.

am i trippin or do i not see several brown women in here? with the exception of the very first girl with the yellow jacket on, who is brown, there’s a lot of weave, but there are 3 or 4 darker-toned women as well as 3 or 4 lighter women. Let’s not look for issues where there are none.

i loved ne-yo’s first album, but all the songs on this second album sound like it could’ve been in my own words pt 2. there is no growth and his song-writing capabilities are nothing spectacular imo. or else, he gives his best efforts away to other artists. i seriously think he should just fade to black & be a writer. he has no stage presence or no “it” quality about him that enthralls me.
