Tracy & Eddie at the ‘07 Oscars (Splash)

Rumor has it that Tracy and Eddie Murphy are officially married as of now and they had an intimate wedding over the weekend. Eonline’s Planet Gossip reported on last Thursday:

A source tells me guests and members of the wedding party are expected to arrive in Tahiti sometime today. “It’s a small, private affair,” the source says.

Last-minute preparations took place earlier this week. “The bridesmaid dresses are all custom from somewhere in Beverly Hills,” my source reports. “They just had their final fittings.”

Edmonds, 40, hinted at the holiday-season nuptials back in the fall. “I’ll say it’ll be before the end of the year,” she told People magazine in October. “And someplace far away and fun.” READ MORE

If this is true, this would be the second go’ round for both individuals. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting to hear whats up with Eddie and those child payments for his baby girl with Melanie…

Looks like Tyler Perry might be stepping away from his own films and taking on a role in the upcoming Star Trek film:

It looks like Perry is playing the head of Starfleet Academy. Before you go asking if the character is going to be a human being or one of those funky aliens with a dozen more nostrils, it looks like Perry’s character is a plain old fashioned human.

My informant tells me about a big scene that was filmed a couple of weeks back that involved Perry, Chris Pine (the young James T. Kirk), Zachary Quinto (young Spock) and dozens of other extras. I’m not a Trekkie so, I don’t relaly know what UGO is talking about after that.However, I do know that Tyler Perry is making moves if this is true! It would be great to see him dressed up in another costume other than Madea and Uncle Joe’s.
