Blacks are progressing as a people, yet know nothing about our natural born hair except that it’s “nappy.” So we slap a relaxer on, get a weave, braid extensions, whatever is necessary to hide it.

Fact: Chemically relaxed hair is not healthy hair, no matter what it looks like on the outside. Extra care and special damage control measures must be employed to prevent the relaxed hair drying out and breaking off.

Well let me ask you this my grandmother is black and considers herself to be black and she is not born with thick course hair she is born with straight wavy hair that other blacks would say is unatural. So is she selling out even if she is born with this “european hair”? Okay here’s another question I know alot of people get on Beyonce for rocking blonde..but here me out…I have cousins in my family that were born with blonde hair..so are they emualating “european traits” even though they were born with it? Last but not least, there are white people that are not born with refine hair so they get relaxers to straighten it and some dye their hair blonde. So are they selling out against their own? Just something to think about. Even if you rock your hair natural..you still need moisturizers to keep your hair healhy and that is not natural neither because you are still putting chemicals in your hair.
