Last year, Tank, Ginuwine, and Tyrese announced that they were forming a new R&B group by the name of TGT. After releasing the remix to Tank’s hit, “Please Don’t Go” all info on the group suddenly stop. That is, until we were sent some exclusive tracks from their upcoming album over the weekend.
“Sex” and “Girlfriend” were finalized sometime last week and word is the group is hard at work on the new album (still untitled) and they want the world to know that ’08 will be a good year for them. Make sure to look out for more exclusives from TGT, only on Concrete Loop!

Looking at this pic has made things official: I’m getting old! Either Ginuwine is aging quickly or he was trying to make one of those sexy looks & the camera caught him too early or off guard. Tank looks kind of like Mike Tyson (w/ out the facial tat).
Hm… the beats in both songs sound extremely similar… I don’t think they’re anything spectacular but not terrible to listen to.
So WHY are 3 grown men just now deciding to form an R&B group?? Tyrese is still fine but I mean, really… it’s too late for this lmao.

I am looking forward to this project. Tanks SexLovePain was a great CD last year it was slept on by many and he does a lot of writing and producing. Ginuwine was solid back in the day and Tyrese has a nice voice. Good look CL getting the exclusives!!

However, I do think it’s suspect that they are forming a group in their early thirties……Tyrese needs to stick to singing, where the hell has Ginuwine been and Tank, well I have nothing bad to say about Tank. He’s the most consistent one of them all. They’re a good looking group; don’t know how well the album will sell though.

I think this is a good collab they have great voices and you cant call them old because there are people that grew with their music and if you listen to the lyrics they aint talking that old…..but i like them and i wish them the best of luck! i loved please dont go remix too

It’s cute I guess. Not very creative. But I’m looking forward to the album. I’m sure it’ll be a one album deal. But Im also sure there will be many hits on it. Tank is a beast at what he does. Genuwine is sexy as all get out. And Tyrees looks good to somebody. (Just not me.) But he can sing though.
