Danity Kane’s new single “Damaged” is exactly the direction these girls should be taking. When Diddy first decided he was putting together a girl group, he said he was looking for a group of girls that were young, fresh and versatile. The first effort, Danity Kane, was a wonderful introduction to the world, but with the new album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Danity Kane has to prove that they can get over the hump of the sophomore slump.
Well, you’ve cast your votes and it seems as though Bad Boy is using “Damaged” as the first single. I think that pop radio will eat this up. The production is tight and the girls float over the track effortlessly. I’m absolutely in love with Dawn’s adlibs.

Lol – the single actually isn’t all that bad…I kinda prefer the end of the song w/ Dawn’s vocals at the end…the harmonizing…and the beat changes up…that’s my favorite part of the song. They should have done the entire production of the song w/ that beat the end of the song…and more the harmonizing vocals.

People on here are ridiculous. This song is at least decent. No one on here has actually stated what is wrong with the song itself? Why is the song garbage? Some of you are the same people who like Rihanna and there is nothing wrong with that, but both she and Danity Kane reside in the same space, which is club pop. The question is, if you were in the club, and this song came on, would you dance to it? Thats what the song is for. And please don’t talk to me about lyrics, “Baby cause in the dark, you can see shiny cars, And’s thats when you need me there, with you I’ll always share.” Those lyrics barely make sense.
I voted for this song but it’s really not that amazing. They had some song called “Phase” feat. Lil Wayne that leaked on a mix tape. Idk if it was some leftovers from their other album but I like it more than this song.

I have DK first album and it was dope. But they would have to prove to me that they can harmonize this whole song as it is on the tape. Plus this song is a bit too sugary madonna/brittany/assie (i mean cassie) like. Please go back to the drawinig board and make some MUSIC! There is nothing wrong with pop persay, but it has to transcend to all. I mean, hell, thugs, indians, old folk, just everyone should FEEL it when it comes on. Damage is just that.
