♫ Danity Kane – Damaged
Danity Kane’s new single “Damaged” is exactly the direction these girls should be taking. When Diddy first decided he was putting together a girl group, he said he was looking for a group of girls that were young, fresh and versatile. The first effort, Danity Kane, was a wonderful introduction to the world, but with the new album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Danity Kane has to prove that they can get over the hump of the sophomore slump.
Well, you’ve cast your votes and it seems as though Bad Boy is using “Damaged” as the first single. I think that pop radio will eat this up. The production is tight and the girls float over the track effortlessly. I’m absolutely in love with Dawn’s adlibs.

Also lol…..their a versatile group. Their going to sing all types of music to reach out to every crowd. Nothing is wrong with pop music, Rihanna been singing it lately and ya’ll been eating that shit up, so what’s the difference…..

Kind of Lame. I never liked them and I was hoping that this time around they had a little more umph. nope. still lame. Dawn is the only one that can sang. she needs to go solo. I bet she could have if she looked more like cassie lol.

People were saying he was doing her because she was getting things she shouldn’t have… I remember that right before hearing about her and Diddy, I’d seen her all over Fashion Week…modeling for Heatherette while the other girls in the group looked on from the crowd… Now, what sense did that make? She wasn’t then a loud or popular enough personality…every bit of publicity she’d gotten the month before was as a mere member of the group…but suddenly Traver and Richie wanted her in their show? Yeahhhhh right…

I love this song!…love the breakdown beat also…I really liked Danity Kane’s first album and listened the whole way through so I’m excited for this second one and I think Diddy is very smart crossing them over to this upbeat sound cause that’s what’s on top right now. I hope the video is as good as the song
I like their older stuff much better. i dont think it will do that well. it may be more of a trl song than a trl, 106 &park, mtv jams etc, crossover joint like “showstopper” was. its really pop, not r&b, i dunno, i just aint feelin it.

@ #89, I’m in the age bracket you speak of and I enjoy the song, but I also enjoy 60s, 80s and 90s artists. Just because it’s new to YOUR age bracket doesn’t mean it’s garbage. I’m pretty sure adults from the 70s thought 80s music was crap right?
