Wednesday night I had the pleasure of attending Mychael Knight’s first K&D Suite, sponsored by Hennessey in downtown Atlanta. The event was held at a popular spot called Opera, a club themed after an old-fashion opera house. Guest performances included: Mychael Knight’s ‘Kitty’s Litter’, (choreographed by Victor Jackson), Tweet, and Joi. The K&D girls danced their behinds off and both Tweet and Joi sounded amazing!
Other attendees included songwriter/producer Adonis, D. Woods of Danity Kane, as well as a host of Atlanta socialites, fashionistas and industry attendees. The K&D Suite showcased pieces from Knight’s intimate apparel line, which can be seen on his site, mychaelknight.com. To my knowledge, the K&D Suite will be a monthly event and will feature guest performers during each suite.

Joi is one of my favorite singers and she looks great…love her music….can’t wait to see what Tweet has in store no matter what she looks like she is still talented…
I can tell from the stills that Kitty’s Litter definitely worked it. I still have my doubts about their effectiveness, but like I said on the first post about them, I will have to actually personally see them before I can pass any judgment.

I love Joi’s ghetto fabulous/funky but yeah smooth style..lol..that girl is outrageous love her for that.and Tweet looks different but she looks very nice

Finally, big ups 2 my homie Mr. Knight… Im glad that he finally pulled it off…. I mean it took them a while 2 get it all 2gether but things that are carefully executed usually come out really nice….. and from reviews… it did….

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Joi look clean.
If you weren’t in attendance of the show it would be kind of hard to understand what “KITTY’S LITTER” represents. First, the outfits were COSTUMES!!! Not the actual line. Second, THANKS for explaining the name because it is not KITTY LITTER which makes a HUGE difference. Lastly, if you are basing your comments on pictures and weren’t actually at the show, step your game up in the industry so you can be invited next time because the show was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! Sitting at home HATING while all of Atlanta’s creme de la creme enjoyed a night of pure entertainment is unbecoming and I can see why none of you were there!

Mychael, shut it…People are responding because they are DISAPPOINTED in you. Most of them, anyway..I happen to think your designs were always lacking in taste and you were basically patronized, pushed to the end because you were somehow put into context and your gaudy precociousness was somehow okay. Either that or your presence was sensational…or, as some believe, Heidi played favorites because you were an African American man.
Either way, man…you’ve DEFINITELY got the skills…the vision, though, the creativeness and sophistication…I don’t think so…not just yet…and this, all this Kitty and Dick stuff, shows it…

ok..since i know that ms.b and mr. knight will likely read this feedback…there are a couple things i wanna say…!! I lived in ATL over 10 years and have truly seen it all…lol!! you guys have alot of talent, and bright creative young minds…please use it to ur advantage!
1. You guys should really reconsider that name!! Anytime u got to explain it…u done already did way 2 much! kitty litter, kittys & dick, kitties dick..who cares…ur consumers have spoken…THE NAME STINKS LIKE KITTY LITTER (i mean real kitty litter …with the poop and all!!)
2. Why is it somethin like a requirement for all chics in ATL to rock cheap and tacky weaves, fake lashes, tons of make-up, and their boobs propped up to infinity? Everybody can’t look like Beyawnce…and this video hoe look is sooo tired. How bout we get some step it up a bit..and get a little creative with the images we puttin out here. How bout mix it up a bit….I suggest find a good range of Black chics…maybe some really sexy chics with some locs or natural hair, or somethin like that. We are so brainwashed by these media images of sexy….HOW BOUT IF U GONE HAVE A BLACK PCD GROUP..FIND SOME NATURALLY SEXY, BEAUTIFUL BLACK CHICS AND BUILD ON THAT!! Man, I put up some of my best work and nobody hardly sees it. I guess it was just a slow day. I’ma wait till it gets hot on here again and break one of my rules. And i’m still confused as why people say “you have to see it in person”…If i don’t like what i see in the pictures (which is the same thing i would see in person) why would that change if i see it in person? Give the brotha a chance to get it together guys. He’ll learn that K&D wasn’t a good idea once it doesn’t attract fanfare. Most great designers have a scandalous line or something that doesn’t work early on. Hopefully in the future Mike realizes that he can make high quality youthful clothes while keeping it classy at the same time. He’s still a very talented designer, so good luck to him.

Well, the pictures definitely don’t do the clothes justice. They were much hotter in person. The event was a lot of fun and I’m excited to see what MK will produce next! Keep up the fab work
