Rihanna seems to be a favorite for designers for their Spring 2008 collections. First, she modeled down the Dsquared runway show, and now Marc Jacobs has added her to his list of celebrity named handbags. The Rihanna bag that premiered from his Spring line, is roomy in size with a large twist-lock closure front flap pocket and aged silver metal hardware.
The purse comes in two styles available on eluxury – a silver leather/suede version ($2,075) and a distressed metallic version ($1,650). Lets see how many versions Rihanna will be carrying herself.

These designers often name bags after celebrities they feel have a style they admire so they call themeselves naming bags, shoes, etc. after them to say their items give off the same style.

I personally don’t like metallic colors, especially for work or everyday usage. That’s more of a club, vacation type purse unless you are one of those who carriers your bag wherever.
